SHORT AND CURLY From my earshot it sounded that the majority of the left side were singing it at Millwall. So those that find it "cringe worthy" are in the minority.
Personally I couldn't care less. Anything that improves the atmosphere is fine by me.

Couldn't actually hear much of the left side for most of the game. (Was sat on the far right.)

On another song-related note, please, please, PLEASE in the Kanu song can we sing "Kanu, Hal Robson-Kanu, Hal Robson-Kanue, runs down etc" rather than cutting it off after the first "Hal Robson-Kanu". It just works so much better. At the moment, it's just getting going when it's cut down.

This issue is causing me much grief, so please resolve it before I attend again. Ta.

Maguire tbh noise is prolly better than no noise and we just have to accept most new songs these days are passed round the leagues

semi 'greed and compared to rumours that I'm forever blowing bubbles was given an airing on Saturday this seems quite acceptable

Are the same mongs who sang Bubbles going to do the Millwall roar at Upton Park later this month?

It was a group of around 7-8 16 year old mongs that started it a few rows behind me. Was met by many groans and :| by the rest of us. Coincidently it was the same group of mongs that started the ultra chant and later boasted on the Reading FC Facebook page about starting it.

This! We've all been there.. standing on the back step of the South Bank, starting chants with our friends and thinking we were 'A.R.D.

They're kids. Leave them be.

Stuka Would prefer it if it was 90 mins of Bill Oddie

I agree but when do we sing more than 2 verses of any song?

It seems to be the Reading way - we just get going, then we stop, never more than two verses
A lot of other team's fans manage to keep their particular song going for 5 or 10 minutes at a time and it always sounds impressive

For once on Saturday we kept this song going, so even if it's not original, at least we were all joining in and making a decent noise

It might be naff but it helped make for a fantastic atmosphere

I only heard this 'ultra' song a bit (and agree with those who say it's rubbish). Was it being sung on the left of the stand? Don't think it got an outing on the right. Was pleased to hear FSB again though, even though it is fairly irrelevant... Always fun.
