KUMB
Most teams who come to The Boleyn, set out for a draw, I reckon Reading will come here to win the game and that will suit us down to the ground. We're a great counter attacking team who are very good at soaking up pressure and hitting teams on the break. What we're not good at is breaking teams down who put men behind the ball and then countering against us.

unfortunately for the members of KUMB this is exactly how we play.

LOL I thought that last night when I read it. Sssshhh don't tell them!

escept that a fair few of the games in this great run of 15 out of 18 games, have been againstr teams who parked the bus

Totally agree with everyone, being under the radar is a good thing, just unfortunately i cant see the clubs weve got to play taking the same opinion. Im really hoping that people don't start playing very defensive against us and playing for a draw.

Just written off by all 4 pundits on SSN! To be fair a pretty biased WHU panel, but even though we are hard to beat and don't concede we've got no chance!!!! If only we had Ricky Lambert.....

I thought they were very complimentary towards us, but as Saints and West Ham have been there all season and are clearly the bigger clubs, you can't blame them for picking them as the top two after 46 games.

Facts are facts though, and we're second on merit. We have a huge say in who goes up automatically by going away to Saints and West Ham. Bring it on!

Second by virtue of having played more games than West Ham, you mean.

Leeds could do us the favour on Sat so here's hoping. :P Peterborough on the 27th is their game in hand. West Ham playing on that date just before us playing them away could be a potential yardstick.

Absolutely

Games in Hand are just that, no points unmtil you win them.

How many thought we would win OUR Game in Hand at Doncaster?

We are where we deserve to be. It's not accident. West Ham's game in hand is irrevelent unless they take points from it, and then they'll be second on merit.

Don't be ridiculous. We're not second on merit, we're second because we've had the opportunity to earn more points that West Ham. Neither do West Ham merit 2nd place until they win (or draw) their game in hand.

Kebe would be there on ability but not on performance this season. He's missed too many games, think Pearce might have got a nod though.

Isn't it voted at a ludicrously early part of the season?

That would make sense as our charge is a recent thing.

Tbh there have been very few standout players this season in the champ in general, Lambert, Lailani, who else?

From this perspective it's a poor division.

Roberts has only played 9 games
Kebe injured too often (probably)
Pearce may be just too quietly efficient to have attracted attention

Kebe - hasn't scored enough, missed a fair few games
McAnuff - hasn't scored enough
Hunt - hasn't scored enough
Church - hasn't scored enough
ALF - hasn't scored enough
Roberts - hasn't been here long enough
Ledge - workhorse that isn't going to stand out in this sort of thing
Karacan - see Ledge
Harte - not scored a lot and been in and out the team
Mills - young, not a big name, in and out the side
Cummings - young, not a big name, in and out the side.

Pearce, Gorkss & Federici are possible contenders, but none of them really stand out from the others and there are plenty of bigger name or higher profile players in their position out there.

It's pretty obvious why we don't have anyone in the list. We have no players who've played a lot who are really stand out performers for us. None are fantastic, most are very good.
