MmmMonsterMunch
1871 Royal If they want to leave early and possibly miss goals then thats their own stupid fault. Yes its annoying but it will always happen.

They got exactly what they deserved today by missing the winning goals.

Got a reply from The 72 on twitter in relation to this subject as well 8)

Considering how many late goals we've got this season I find it strange that people are in such a massive rush to go before the match is done.

I know!

If you went to the theatre would you leave five minutes before the end of the play to beat the traffic?

Would you leave a rock concert before the band played their big hits in the encore just to beat the queue at the train station?

Would you nip out with ten minutes left of your kids nativity play to make sure you were home in time for Total Wipeout?

Why is your kid's nativity play on at tea time on a Saturday?!

The only fans that left were the 20 or so misfits shown on tv. Think they finally realized that they weren't in CostCo.

weybridgewanderer if you are referring to the group on sky that were shown leaving 10minutes before the end, those were the Reading Buses drivers who always have to leave early and get back to their buses

Someone's gotta drive the bandwagons.

MmmMonsterMunch Shame on you. Stay until the end & back the boys. I just cannot understand why people do not stay until the end to applaud the team.

I always thought it was a free world.

Why get annoyed at other people doing what they want to do?
Calm down a bit and enjoy the football.

Every team has fans who do this...from Macclesfield to Man U.

The only time I have ever left early is about 30 seconds before the whistle at the play-off final last year as I couldn't bear hearing the Swansea celebrations (in hindsight that day seemed doomed from the moment we played the rather ghey "don't stop believing"). That doesn't make me any more of a fan than anyone else. I just have this insane belief even when we are getting tonked.

And the Wham criticism on KUMB seems rather bizarre considering the evacuation that took place at around 4.45 last Saturday at the Boil.

Not forgetting them at our place with 5 minutes to go either:

It comes down to whether getting in the bus queue early / to your car to beat the traffic and cut 10 - 15 minutes off your journey is more important to you than seeing some of the best and most satisfying moments a football fan can ever witness.

I simply cannot comprehend why you'd choose the former. But some do. Their loss, not mine. As long as they don't block someone's view, let the idiots miss out.

This is the only viewpoint to have. Just let them get on with it. It doesn't hurt anyone. Rushing out to either a bus that will not leave until it reaches capacity or a car that is maybe sat at the front of the queue.

Second goal goes in and kills the game off = back to the pub quicker, rather than sitting there watching us keep it in the corner for the remaining 3 minutes and win cheap fouls.

Simples.

My school play was on the night of the England Germany match in World Cup 90. Idiots.
