re:Church, the squad always rave about him and how talented he is, whenever he scores we always hear about how pleased they all are for him.

I think he's got more in his locker and certainly some of the technical aspects of his game are very good. He's got time on his side and personally I think it would be foolish to let him go at this stage. However, he could probably get a loan to a pretty good side in the Championship and start regularly which would be a good test for him.

we need another Roberts type striker, that leaves not a lot of space on the bench. Loan or sell Church and have a strike force of Roberts, Hunt, ALF, ANO. we'll be ok

Looks like Wenger wants to loan him out again. If Defoe and Rhodes don't happen, what do you think? I would take him and let Church go on loan.

I would bring back Afobe in a heartbeat if there's a chance. Young enough to not be in the 25, and presumably Arsenal would cover his wages. No lose situation.

Yeah, we had this special needs lad in our school that we always gave a lot of encouragment to, you know, bigged him up and sh/t.

Not sure we saw enough of him when he was here to judge to be honest.

He didn't play enough for me to be able to form an opinion of him. Did he even play a full game? I remember him playing against Blackpool in he 3-1 win but he didn't do a lot.

IIRC he started against Blackpool but got subbed half way through the second half. Didn't really see enough of him to form a positive judgement.

loyalroyal4life Afobe>>>>Church

Do you care to elaborate on how you reached this conclusion i.e. is it based on your observations of Afobe's strengths as opposed to one of those really clever My Gran>>>>Church responses?
