Once were Biscuitmen More pertinently do we need another thread on exactly the same topic?

I think we need to try out several formations of the topic. We also need to try out the same formation of the topic, but slightly rotating those who post on the topic. We also need some random bizarre oddities, brilliancies or oxf*rd ups, either by those trying to outdo each other on the topics, or on those trying to adjudicate.

We need to keep in going until at least January, when hopefully we will have some new topics, or some fantastic new posters.

Unfortunately, Tactically you've already lost it!

Bollocks. I performed brilliantly at the level I was at - but now I am on a whole new level, and admit I am struggling.

TheSiege Years ago, I suggested a sweeper in front of the back four. My team at the time gave me so much abuse that I dropped the idea. This has nothing to do with the above post - I think!

Unfortunately we play with two sweepers in front of the back four - yet still ship goals

WHICH IS WHY WE ARE TRYING TO GET A GRIP ON THE TACTICS WE SHOULD BE PLAYING! I agree with you but - keep up!

I can't. I get 2/3rds of the way through, I think I'm nearly there, and then I get knackered. They all run past me. I let them go, at least once, and sometimes up to 7 times. However, I decided yesterday to not let any more past me, but I wont offer anything up either

OK Siege, I'll answer seriously. We have already tried 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1. We could also try 4-1-4-1 if we want another option. I wouldn't have thought it would take too much adapting to for our players who are used to 4-4-2, as you would still play the same back four and the same midfield four.

We had an ideal opportunity after winning promotion to the Premier League to bring in better quality players to the club to improve the technical ability and the way we set up and play on the pitch.

McDermott has failed to do this, sticking with the players who got us promoted and continuing with the style of play he knows and has trusted since taking over as manager.

Only a change of manager will bring a new dimension to Reading Football, as it will be out with the old players and in with some new players!!

As a general rule I prefer Orange Tictacs, although on occasion I find that maybe I should have used Peppermint instead. Unfortunately, my wife has a a strong sense of smell, and even the Peppermint won't hide the alcohol on my breath. It's clear that a new flavour is required.

This is the best post I have read on here in a long time. (I will now only read posts by those whom have joined after midnight, to avoid reading posts by those in bed by 22:00.)
