Says a lot when QPR's first win in mid December means they're no longer bottom.

No decent player will sign for us with Brian in charge - how could they possibly trust him?

With Brian Accountable

Sadly agree.

Though some may still try to argue differently, his management since June has been pretty much an unmitigated disaster. The signs were there from early on (pre-season friendlies - of course they mean nothing! and the cup 'performance' v P'Boro.) and things have pretty much gone from bad to worse since then. Not using his 'big name' signings because he suddenly realised they didn't fit his style of play, public fallouts and spats with players, Roberts allowed to show more interest in his view of Kick It Out than concentrating on trying to 'kick it in the f*cking net', and recent signs that he has started to lose the dressing room.

Because they will see his record in the football league and believe we can do well next season. Be realistic, any permanent signings in Jan will be decent Championship players or of that standard with relegation in mind. Any better player than this will only be on loan!

The links to Curtis Davies seem more likely than most, and would be ideal with next season in mind. In fact with the summer additions of Gunter, Mariappa, Shorey, McCleary; I'm very optimistic we'll have a bloody good side next season. In fact I'm already looking forward to putting this season behind us!

Woolly68 Now we've reached ROCK BOTTOM we can start to rise again...

Lets use this Guthrie thing to bring us all together, a few new players and a possible new manager.....we can get out of this.

Come on you a Royals

Get your head out of your arse! By the time we've dithered and bargained and lost most of our January targets, the window will close and we will be 12-15 points adrift. We haven't got a chance. You'd need 3-4 new faces at least and in the first few days of January to give us any slight hope!!

Quite. If we really meant business, we could have already made pre-contractual/registration arrangements to ensure we got the players we wanted (I'm sure smart lawyers would know a way of doing this without falling foul of any regulations) but odds very much on that we haven't.

I wish we'd gone for quality over quantity in the summer & just got 2 class signings. Very easy to say in hindsight though as we did add players in the areas we needed to.

Or we could cough and splutter floundering about in the mud at the bottom for the rest of the season like Halibut United

And the only one up to the required standard was the LB! We did not add sufficient in CM or up front.

I don't think you are right and, even if you were, I'm not looking forward to another season of McDermott's idea of good football - Hoof!

Well, with our wingers he wouldn't have to worry about getting on the end of a cross.

If Bryan goes, Pog (When fit) and Guthrie will be straight back into the starting line up.
