I don't really care who plays, or if we get tonked.

I just want to see some clue as to what do with the round leather thing and some fight.

Le Fondre (a man who's best work has always been within 6 inches of the goal being played as a midfielder? Any sort of reason or just smoking crack?

Royal91 McDermott will go out with the same formation, with the same players and we will go home with the same result as the last match. Completely inept.

But we will 'learn and move on'.

Its the midfield that is doing my head in the most.

This is the team I would have assuming Roberts and HRK are fit and Morro, Kebe, Karacan and Pog remain out.

--------------------Taylor------------------- (The only way Federici will be dropped is if he's lined up against a wall and shot multiple times/Same for L,Wood actually)

Cummings---Pearce---Mariappa---Shorey

----------------Tabb-----Guthrie--------------

McCleary------------HRK--------------McAnuff

------------------Roberts----------------------

I've previously stated HRK should NOT be a striker but he can certainly do a role more centrally. He has a good touch and the role enables him to drive centrally. He can turn on the ball. He can arrive late in the box, he has strong aerial ability and he can finish (Many of you believe he's our best finisher)

Guthrie. The only thing I will say is to anyone saying he was shit when he started for us is that he had been playing out of position. He should be playing deeper controlling the game. Lets be honest were any of our other midfielders doing any better than him at the time.

Anderson, Harte, Byrn, L,wood, Alf, Samuel, Obita.

Hunt is just that bad its pointless having him on the bench. At least Obita and Samuel are unknown.

This +1000 other than the fact that Taylor is just as dog shite as Federici this year. I am still so surprised we signed him, anyone of his age and was unable to become a first team goalie in pretty much is whole career just shows how bad he is. Andersen is far better.

It won't matter what team we put out. It all depends on whether Arsenal 'turn up' tonight. If they don't and we play at our maximum, which admittedly is no where near enough in this league, then who knows. We might stand more of a chance if Brian plays the players we have who've got premier league experience (like the ones he will be desperately looking for in January...)

Binfield Royal Bradford City

Or.....

Andersen
Cummings, Pearce, Marriappa, Shorey
Kebe, Guthrie, McAnuff, McLeary
Roberts, Pog

Bench
Clarke Kent, Bruce Banner, Peter Parker, Tony Stark and Federici (obv)

I'd rather have Tabb and Tyrion Lannister in midfield...

(Not sure how Federici gets a look in with that lot on the bench either).

Sauces, believe if you want. Have said that Pog, Kebe & Gorkss are all in tonight. No Pearce..

Swear the team's picked out of a hat now.

No not a hat. BMc and Gibbsy have four felt bags that they draw the numbers out of, Bag 1 only has 1 ball in it. Bags 2 and 3 always have four balls drawn out each, and Bag 4 only has two balls drawn from it............ I can see it now.............

'Number 1'
'Adam Federici'
'Will play in..........'
'Goal'

'That concludes the Reading Team draw for the 17th round of fixtures.'

Well that means it'll be something like:

Afed

Cummings Gorkss Mariappa Shorey

Kebe Legs (ugg) Tabb MAanuff

Pog Alfie

Not so bad but we're desperate to get a combative centre midfielder to replace Legs. Then we could actually play Guthrie.

Bloody hell Gorkss.

I guess McAnuff and L,wood don't get entered into the hat selecting process.

Welcome to BMc's Fuzzy Felt Team Selection Time, chuck all the squad names at a Fuzzy Felt board and see which ones stick :D !!!!

(OK I admit it, I am having real trouble figuring out any other way he picks this team......... )

Reading people's ideas/selections on this thread has made me a bit more grateful to have Brian at the helm to be honest..

No Guthrie in the starting XI, not sure on the bench. Hunt & Pog up front...

So presumably

Feds

Shorey
Mariappa
Gorkss
Cummings

McAnuff
Tabb
Leigertwood
Kebe

Hunt
Pogrebnyak.

Very similar to the team that won at QPR isn't it?

With Gorkss in if your "sauces" are correct... I reckon we will break a record for the amount conceded in the prem tonight. Once again McDermott showing his ability of to not see when a player is complete and utter shit!

I think McDermott is a keen Darts player... in the dark, his selection this season has been laughable.

Before I get "look what he did last season" etc. The key words are last season.

Ok so the 5-7 match is difficult to watch again, but this is worth watching for hearing a Brazilian pronounce Hal Robson Kanu alone.
