ddetisi He's a work horse but not premiership standard.

The squad is not premiership standard, Tabb has been better than most of them so far this season.
He will have no trouble finding a good club though, proper professional.

he doesn't deserve to be playing games, nor does Leigertwood, he was part of the worst midfield we have had since Burns was in charge.

TBM Considering he hardly got in the team last season and had never scored a goal for us, I'm not too upset over this news

Exactly

Deary me, Tabby probably wants regular first team football at this stage of his career and given he's not getting it with us we're letting him go. The reaction to this on twitter is fucking LOLaughable

Big time, probably had a meeting with the manager and they both agreed for him its best for him to move on.

Same as Leigertwood, only Tabb doesn't tire after an hour and he can pass a ball, which makes him more important to us the the former.

AirRaidSiren He is has been far better than Leigertwood this season, but.....I do not see what he brings to the team playing in the Premiership. Can't pass, can't score, can't shoot. Shame though, his enthusiasm and commitment was second to none.

Good luck Jay.

You joking?

Yeah agree, neither are good enough for this level, but Tabb has performed a lot better and more consistent than Legs.

What is Tabb's contract situation like? Hope we get a sensible fee for him.

paultheroyal No time for sentiment.

Work horse, gave it his all but all not premier league standard and struggled for a championship place.

Will be well regarded by the fans here, including me. He will have no problem finding another club. But with a midfield over run, changes are needed.

+1 People can't moan about the club not evolving & then moan when they try to. The club know they need a different style of play to have a crack at going up again & staying up & Tabb doesn't fit that mould.

Lets be honest he is a mid table championship player.

All the best to him & what not but all in all not a bad decision I don't think. Tabb going does not define our season & at least telling him early gives him plenty of time to find a new club.

If we go down then Legs still has a massive part to play IMO so no don't agree there.

I have not been his greatest fan in this league by any stretch, but in the chump he was excellent for us.

Not with BM's long-ball football, no chance!! Especially long-ball and one poor begger up front on his own.
