Great idea etc etc, I just hope that enough people do it so the muppets behind me (who probs won't have a clue what's going on) won't tell me to SIT DOWN! The East and North need to take the lead on this and hopefully the LOLower West will catch on.

Less clapping.

More multiple sclerosis.

I find these things all a bit embaressing and over the top at football matches to be honest, we'll be retiring shirts next.

Having said that, it's happening, he seemed a decent bloke, so I'll no doubt join in (but feel a bit of a dick).

Its a clap, for a player who won POY for us and battled with his illness whilst still giving his all

What point is not clapping, proving?!

Stretch was gr8 for us and his determination to battle the condition and get fit for a couple of games is nothing short of amazing

is pretty much where I'll be.

Didn't we already "tribute" him the last time the two clubs met? Wasn't there a collection for MS on the day? (I'll bet there's 10x the no. of people applauding than popped £1 in the collection tins that day) Do we do it every time we meet Sheff U?

He doesn't want the fuss and is busy with his family anyway so really, what is the point?

Quite staggering that ONE person on twitter dreams it up and all of a sudden it became something fans wanted.
