Ideal Vote for Gunnarsson! He deserves it, and most everyone else (except Alf) have been shit.

soggy biscuit
Cobi Reading fans are registered as number 13, so I'll be voting for us! We've sold out at an average of 97% this season for home games, so I think considering the diabolical football this season, we deserve a chuffing thank.

:|

Genuinely amongst the worst fans in the country imo

Would have disagreed with you until the last home match (think we're par for the course generally), but our "performance" against Aston Villa was the equivalent of a central defender offering to play up front for the opposition.

For that reason alone I'd love Leigertwood to make it into the top three, but McAnuff seems to be gathering more steam so I'll probably vote for him. Anything to piss off the clueless numbskulls.

It's one thing to say he's unfairly maligned (which I agree with) but he has certainly not been one of our top players this campaign and to call him our best midfielder is ludicrous! I presume this was mainly an attempt to 'wind up the divs'.

He is unfairly maligned but he's not been our best midfielder. Tabb and Akpan have performed as well or better in their few appearances. So you're basically giving it to him for being a regular. Even if he were the best performing midfielder that's damning him with faint praise and plenty of our squad from other positions deserve to be higher in the consideration.

Arguably fed mccarthy kelly pearce mariappa mcanuff pog and alf have out performed him.

Saying that I wholeheartedly salute the effort to wind up the divs who think he brings nothing positive and has suddenly become shit.

bah!

i say hes been our best midfielder, and 3rd most consistent players this season.
and that says more about the rest of the squad than him.

LOL! i like akpan. but come on.
i loved jay Tabb. and i thought he was harshly dropped. he did a decent job, for a handful of matches.i think ledge has played better, and more often than either.

agree on mariappa and mcanuff being better, and by some way.
not having any of our 3 keepers who has let in sackfulls of goals throughout the season
pog and alf have had the odd short spell of quality performances, but neither has done enough to get anywhere near a POS
kelly andf marriappa both win best newcomer/signing of the season, i just think marriappa deserves it more for playing for longer.

Legs outperformed Tabb. When Leigertwood wants to tackle someone, he tackles them. When Tabb wants to tackle someone, he runs towards them as if to tackle them, but they retain control of the ball.

Akpan gets a lot of love because he plays risky passes often and the first one led to a goal. He isn't as reliable as Legs though, and I don't think he is actually a better passer.

Its easily Le Fondre, who has been the best of a bad bunch. If it weren't for him, we would have considerably less points and would we be far more doomed for relegation than we already are. Mariappa would come second because, although he has been decent mostly, he has been far from perfect. He has actually had a few fairly poor games and made some bad mistakes.

Le Fondre is virtually the only player who has proved he is good enough to get into another PL squad, he has to win it.

Le Fondre. None of the rest have covered themselves in glory...probably Shorey as runner-up and Pearce as third.

Hardest player of the season vote ever, for all the wrong reasons. When they've played I think Hal and ALF have been the 2 to stand out.
