I also think they are oxf*rd. At best they are outdated. They may have use for your staff but zero for customers. They're pretty much all the same

melonhead theyre motto's, rather than mission statements

How come you can't be arsed to put an apostrophe in "theyre" [sic] but take the time and trouble to make sure one does into "motto's" [sic]?

Just asking, like....

well. it wasnt a conscious thing

i guess its because the yre already denotes it isnt their or there, so i find that particular apostrophe to be superfluous
and i knew putting one into mottos would upset grammar fascists

then why plaster it all over the social media? which is what the "customers" not the "staff" look at. I have no issue if this sort of thing is in the dressing room or player restaurants dont ram it down our throats. I fully expect to see T-shirts in the club shop next season with it on, just like the Tenacity Spirit and Flair T-shirts.

Do you really have to ask that :?: Do you not realise that after the shitty season we've had the club are trying to get the fanbase excited about the long term development of the club :?: Do you not think it's a good idea for the club to target those fans who wouldn't otherwise think about the importance of long term projects like the Academy and a new training ground :?: Especially given the success of the U18's this season in comparison to the first team :?:

The club is trying to do the right thing in terms of investing in the long run, through improvements in infrastructure/playing style/the commercial side, but that kind of stuff won't necessarily get your average fan excited, especially when current results aren't going according to plan. Therefore they have to push it with a cheesy slogan.

Any fan that starts going to watch us because of a cheesy slogan is a douche - and does your question mark key not work on your keyboard :?:

It's not about attracting new fans, it's about energising the current fanbase

Tokyo Sex Whale
JayRoyal At least its not as bad as Liverpools one #WeComeNotToPlay which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever

What would Gove think?

That until we remove the left wing teaching professions vice like grip on our schools, we will not reduce the numbers of poorly educated scousers.

Until education standards return to pre Thatcher days more like. There are too many thick, ignorant and stupid people allowed on the internet. Sadly, most frequent the Team Board.

We will see today whether any of these three words have turned us from a team bereft of hope, to a team up for a fight, high in quality and capable of turning teams over.

In Nigel we trust.
