RockheadRumple I get the feeling McCleary's pretty frustrated. He hasn't played nearly enough imo.

He played a lot more under Adkins and will be a key player next season. Kebe on the other hand asked to leave when McDermott was sacked, and the club have agreed he can go if we receive a suitable fee (rumoured to be £2m).

Agree that McCleary didn't play enough.

I read in a paper (can't remember which one) a week or two ago that said Crystal Palace were after McCleary. Probably nothing in it though.

Palace will be there for one season. If he goes, fine, but go to a club that gives you a chance to better yourself long-term.

Well we need to lose a keeper, a right back and probably a couple of midfielders for starters. Don't think any of those that would be likely to leave would be a surprise

Leigertwood and Cummings.

Those hoping its Guthrie are totally clueless.

Cummings has openly said that he wants to stay and fight for his place.

Because he is a disgrace to this football club that's why. What fan hasn't dreamed about playing for their club? This is a guy who refused to play for Reading FC and he'll need more than a couple of 7/10 performances to turn around my opinion of him and his Bulbous head.

Even with barely 200 posts I still feel I have the right to  this.

Go on then you do that. That's your opinion and you're welcome to it but respect my opinion that he has to do a lot more to earn trust back then a few ok games. He's the one that made those actions and he hasn't done nearly enough yet to warrant forgiveness. Hardly unreasonable.

Sources close to the club tell me there's nothing in the offing at all although the obvious lack of need for 2 top goalies means you'd expect one of them to leave

Is this One8seven1 character a new idiot btw? Or one of the old ones with a new name?

Indeed you do. It is post that says more about the intellect of the poster than anything else.

What has that got to do with it?

How often do you see players playing for a club just cos they support them.....

Sandman's hardly one for posting a balanced and rational view. I doubt he even comes close to believing that - it's probably just his idea of hilarious wumming. Like all the toss he posts about McCarthy being rubbish.

Potentially, he was on the verge of leaving until Anton stumped up money 18 months ago. Maybe he thought the club would fall like a stone.
