I'd like to give the youth players a chance.
But I wouldn't put anyone under the age of 22 in Wednesday's match squad (11+ 7 subs), or any other match in the immediate future.

Does this mean I'm talking bollocks?
Discuss.

McCarthy is an accident waiting to happen with his balls out of the box. Couple of times yesterday we would pass across the 18 yard line to within 5 feet of an opponent. One day....

McCarthy 6 appearances, 2 clean sheets, 6 goals conceeded
Federici 1 appearance, 0 clean sheets, 6 goals conceeded

After the pityful, lifeless, utterly boring and toal lack of imagination shown on Sunday, and with the obvious lack of effort or urgency from Hammond and co to get some new blood onto the side we might as well try some of the young lads, if nothing else just to show the fans that even Adkins and co realise that the dross that was on the pitch Saturday just can't cut it.

McCarthy
Gunter
Morrison
Pearce
Bridge
McCleary
Gunter
Taylor
Obita
Alf
Uguwu

subs
Feds
Kelly
Sweeney
Karacan...A bit unfortunate after Sunday, but midfield has got to be sharpened up
McAnuff
Samual
Drenthe...mainly as he looked so overweight and unfit on Sunday

Taylor, Ugwu, Samuel and Obita played today. Unlikely that they'll get a look in. Expect something a little less inspiring and a little more Blackman.

Dear me, you're all so impatient.

Have you never heard of allowing a side to settle and find form through a little consistency of selection. It's only game six. Did we learn nothing of the fine margins involved in this division last time we were in it? It really doesn't take much of a spark to light the ignition.

Patience precious, patience.

I know where you are coming from there Ian, but that display on Sunday was just awful with 9 out of the 11, then after 30 mins 9 out of 10, part of the team that performed pretty dismally last season, its not like we have 6 or 7 players settling in mate.

I particularly like the idea of cloning Gunter. Is Uguwu our new loan signing?

oops maffff me second Gunter should have of course read Guthrie, thats the problem confusion with so many talented players all pushing for a starting position, Ugwu ? didnt have a clue how to spell his name lol late night, red wine displayed the obvious cock ups on my behalf.

I liked the one liner with "is uguwu our new loan signing" this is Reading fella we talk a good deal but thats about as far as it goes !

Is Cummings fit to play? Having seen Kelly and Gunter on Sunday, surely he deserves a chance?

But is Cummings fit to play? The Club extended his contract but both McDonut and Adkins don't seem to r8 him. So unsure why they gave him another contract.
