Poor. Played off the park by a side who were 18th before the game and Shittu was the best player on the park!!! He was everywhere today and unjustly had a goal chalked off as well, no wonder he went ballistic at the lino.

If McDermott had put out a team that performed like that he would have been slated but I suppose this will go down as all part of the "evolution" by the Adkins lovers

Alf was off his game today but tbf he was once again feeding off scraps by having to try and win long balls pumped up to him. What has happened to playing through the thirds of the pitch then Nige???

We are not a top six side and anyone that thinks that the return of Royston and Williams will sort out is deluded. For one thing neither would get into the starting 11 now anyway, with Baird playing the holding midfield role and better options on the wing.

And Y26 were just cringeworthy today. Funny how it empied out 5 minutes before the end of the game... :D

Ian Royal One more thing. Our throw Ins were symptomatic of what was wrong. Slow ponderous predictable and no movement. Must do better at this sort of basics

Our throw-ins were awful today, nobody wanted to come to receive the ball and even when they did we lost possession within one or two touches. Also, we didn't close them down when they took theirs. Looks to me like we don't practice them much or even plan what we should try and do.

First home game I've seen this season. What a disappointment, lacking in skill and effort. Millwall looked the better side.

Not going up at that rate I think.

Can't disagree with much of what has been posted.
The thing that disappointed me most was the lack of shape in the second half particularly when the subs came on.
McCleary in the middle too much and at times Obita and McCleary were on the same side of the pitch.
Playing for a 1-0 against a team near the bottom of the league with still about 30 minutes to go is a dangerous game and today it backfired on us.

BTW, although Bridge had taken a knock and needed to be subbed, why do so many managers feel that they must use all 3 subs?
I think today by altering things too much it cost us the game even though I am talking through my pocket as I would have won nearly £300 if we had won.
Not a great day-a lorry took my wing mirror off so the £300 would have come in handy.
When you think, some of those players earned about £20,000 or so this week-they earned that money last week but not this.

Vic_Flange We are going to have many draws this season. Get over it. We don't deserve to be back in the Premiership. Now go out and get pissed before it starts raining worse than our leaky defence. Usual please, a pint of Stella, cheers.

Spot on. Apart from the Stella. It's tasteless piss.

It says something when the crowd histrionics become more watchable than the game. Histrionics that carried on outside the Bugle tonight. Funny watching the boys come running out of the Lime Bar, thinking there was a major disturbance going on, due to the number of coppers legging it down Friar Street.

By the way did anyone else witness one of the Millwall 'so called' lads breaking a reg. plate off the back of one of the buses after the game? Hardness personified?

Feds - Tempted to give a 6 for what looked like a rash challenge at the end but will hold judgement for the replay. Otherwise fine.
Bridge - 7. One of the few players who had any hunger for the game today but even so not his best.
Morrison - 7. One of our better players and he did score a goal.
Pearce - 6. He is a liability waiting to happen. Good head on him but too scared on the ball.
Gunter - 6. Meh
Baird - 6. Was he actually playing in the first half?? Really didn't notice him.
Guthrie - 6. Worst performance all season that I have seen.
Obita - 6. Better than McCleary at least.
McCleary - 5. Woeful at times in second half.
Alf - 5. Seemed like a shocking miss.
Pog - 7. Went off the boil a bit but still one of our 'best' players today and thought his workrate was good. He had to keep going deep in the second half because he wasn't getting the service! He shouldn't have to be doing that.

Subs - 6. No real impact.

We had little hunger for it today. Milwall not a great side but at least they fought for it. Our passing and keeping the ball was awful at times. For the first 25 minutes I thought we looked good (we often start well I've noticed but all too often we don't maintain it), but went downhill after that.

Congrats to those in Y25 -26. The away fans were rattled.

Sadly I couldn't make the game. What chants/songs were exchanged out of interest?

dull, uninspiring football. We are sluggish, seem to continually play the ball backwards and struggle to get our passing above an excruciating pace that allows the opposition to get numbers back and stifle us.

I was under the impression that Adkins teams play attractive attacking passing football. I've seen about 60 mins of that all season. This really isn't the great football that all the TB dickheads were crowing about in the summer.

If we're going to play high possession football we need to pass the ball QUICKLY.

"Who's the peedo in the green?" Something to do with "He'll shag your daughters"
Something to do with "you shag your sister" "Does she take it up the arse?" "oxf*rd like a bucket" was probably an all time taste and decency low point.
"Who's the oxf*rd in the red?"

And of course, the ever popular Federici baiting "We're gonna win the Ashes 5-0." on another note

Really poor performance. Which makes conceding a late goal easier to accept.

Cant see why we using 442. We look much better with 4231 or 433, and we were making good progress with keeping the ball, under those systems. 442 has no long term prospect if we are looking to establish ourselves in the Premier League eventually. You have to be prepared with a system that will work at that level ( Swansea, Southampton)

Pretty much the full repertoire of relevant recent year chants. Went through a period of running through all of the various player chants. Didn't linger on "Super Reading" or "Blue Army" as is usual form. Plenty of "Shut up sit down" and "Your support is sh*t". Half the Millwall apes just shut up and the other half were climbing over each other to get at the East stand. I thought the North was louder than usual too.
