Hoop Blah I think McAnuff said he might end up moving to fullback Snowball, not sure he meant left back though as he's right footed and I think he's said it whilst playing for us as an emergency right back a couple of times.

McAnuff is perfectly capable of playing the ball with his left foot.

Ian Royal It always amazes me how many people struggle to spell player's names correctly. They're on the back of their shirts and the big screen every week afterall.

Snowball McAnuff himself said he thought he would end up as a left-back.

Personally I think he'd make a very good left back

Also think Karacan, when fit, would be a brilliant right back.

I've long thought Karacan is more suited to right back than midfield. He could have solved us many problems over the years by switching there.

McCarthy
Cummings Pearce Gorkss Kelly
Williams Guthrie
McCleary McAnuff Obita
Pogrebnyak

Federici, Akpan, Taylor, Drenthe, Blackman, Sharp, Le Fondre.

No defensive backup.

Should bring a few others up to support the squad too, Keown, Cooper, Tshibola, Samuel and Robson-Kanu

Cripple Creek Robson Kanu shows enough to suggest that he is a genuine talent but it is shown so sporadically I don't really see he why should be an automatic starter once injuries return (unless of course he improves fairly dramatically). You can't keep playing someone on the basis that they are very good 15 per cent of the time. His public statements seem to indicate that he believes he is far, far better than the evidence suggests.

Agreed.
I'll be very disappointed if Church and Robson-Kanu both play tomorrow night.

Cummings and Kelly at full back. I think when Drenthe is fit enough he will take Robson-Kanu`s place.

I reckon he will be on the bench, Adkins has hinted at that. 8)

Wasn't Chris Powell the guy we tried to sign from Southampton in the 106 season where turned us down making some negative comments about Reading not being good enough or not ambitious enough for him.

gr8 minds. Just put Cooper in for Blackman. I mean, there's no point having Blackman there when you have two other strikers and effectively two other wingers (Taylor can either play wide or allow McAnuff to go wide).
