yes, agree

But so far, we are failing to keep the ball, and yet are succeeding to gift-wrap it in the Championship.

Maybe it'll come

Kebe is our Messi All those who want Brian back or think he is a better manager are clueless about football. Both these managers have completely different philosophy's. One had an effective hoofball counter attacking game and the other a more possession based game. We sacked brian because of our inability to keep the ball and if you cant keep the ball, especially in the premier league, you have far more chance of losing than winning. Nigel was brought in to change our way of playing so it gives us a better chance of staying in the premier league when we get back there.

Funny how all the Adkins apologists want this thread deleted................................the desperation in some of their posts is almost tangible :P

Sacking Brian infuriated me and it was the wrong thing to do.

Overall I guess I can see the argument that we'd rather get into the PL playing good football rather than forcing our way in playing the sh*t last minute grabs Brian gave us and therefore Adkins>Brian.

But that *only* works if the club would then be willing to given Adkins the big money to change the squad in line with changing the way he wanted to play. To get him in and then bizarrely *not* give him those funds makes sacking Brian and bringing in Adkins a very bizarre thing to do indeed.

Ironic therefore how some club apologists are now calling anyone who defends Adkins an apologist, in an attempt to divert attention from the fact that this isn't Adkins' fault, it's the club's for being unable to back him, for whatever reason.

In summary, I didn't want Brian to go and given the current situation with (still) no funds would've rather had Brian than Adkins, but we do have Adkins and if backed properly will be the better manager: we just need the club to finally put its money where its mouth is.

Not sure if pp post was serious spizz.

Fair mentions for Kebe and Hunt, who have both been monumental in their new clubs.

10 out of 10 for cliché-driven drivel. Try thinking at a higher level.

The 'apologists' are turning like oil tankers, even Winchester is having some doubts, and he has been the most consistent and reasonable supporter of the changes and the club in general thus far, I wonder what it will take for some folks to maybe admit all is not well?

Same old Reading fans, unable to deal with change....

"can we have Gylfi back?"

"can we have Doyle back?"

"can we have Long back?"

"can we have Kebe back?"

"can we have Brian back?"

Why don't you all support the current team rather than keep harping on about the supposed good old days??!!

Support your team as they are now, not how they were, it's more fun than constantly moaning. I promise you.

Can we have Roger Smee back? I reckon JM would be pretty happy to see that happen too!

We're just expressing unnecessary change that's actually been for the worse.

I suppose you think that David Moyes should be sacked by Man U rather than given time....

If David Moyes wasn't hand picked by Ferguson I doubt he would've been allowed as much leeway as he has had so far.

Change is fine if it is something that evolves naturally. If it's because of some foolish ideal then you have a problem.

Take it you wouldn't have players with the quality of Long and Sigurdsson given the chance?
