Hate too strong, and feelings die down over time, so:

Halford. I can't believe he hasn't had more mentions on here
Lita. Wouldn't trust the bloke with my surname, let alone the car keys
Rosenior. Might as well have had 'I'm too big for this club' tattooed across his ar*e.
Evers. Promised so much. Delivered - well, nothing.

... and I can't remember the blokes name. Horrible scrawny looking chap - from Colchester or somewhere. Forward, quite quick, tricky, selfish... did he go to Luton afterwards?

Mark Reilly...for being utter crap
Mark McGhee...yes, he did play as well as manage. Don't need to explain why he's on the hate list!!
I really believe he could have gone on to be a top manager if he hadn't been such a twat.
Didn't really hate Olly Kearns, but loved singing "He gets the ball, he does oxf*rd all, ollie ollie kearns" when he played against us.
Pat Earles is on the list just for being rubbish...no hate
Emerse Fae For wasting our time and money

Leroy Lita - tosser and 90% crap. Can't stand him
Terry Hurlock - vicious thug, walking red card
John Mackie - thug
Boris Mihaylov - one or two worldies but Jeez, he was supposed to be world class and really really wasn't. Prat with a wig.
Andy Hughes - a trier but whenever I saw him he was useless

glass half full
Ian Royal
Berry Kromheer...Total Jank
Keith Scott...His legs didnt seem to be able to move his large frame
Sean Evers...Brought in as the great Messiah....Biggest pile of chit ever
Colgan....Worse goalie on the planet?
Jeff Hopkins...Still feel his inclusion in the 96 P/O Final for Skippy ended all hopes of promotion

Bit confused by that explanation for Hopkins, not solely because the PO Final was in 1995, but also because Hopkins was on the bench and only came on because Skippy couldn't keep playing after an injury.

He took part in the parade and was the only one to meet everyone assembled by the Forbury gates who came out to cheer and was, after all a member of the squad.

Meant Berry's post, sorry.

Don't hate anybody, but the following were meant to be good and weren't
McIntyre
Drenthe
Matejovsky

And Shorey and Doyle completely gave up in their last six months in Coppell's team

I lost a year in 95 to a coma Ian...Apologies for that...Yep you are right that Skippy was indeed injured, i felt that Jeff Hopkins was uninspiring, wooden and generally poor...His heroic meeting at Forbury Gates is all well and good but does not really have a lot to do with his quality of football, I didnt (Hate) the guy (Very strong words) but i certainly disliked his footballing.....Are you Ok with that, Or are you a member of the Jeff Hopkins We Meet At Forbury Gates Society?

In between his serious knee injuries I thought Jeff Hopkins was a damned good footballer.

It depends what we are talking about here, Berry - footballer or human being. As a footballer, Jeff Hopkins was never the most talented but he appeared to give his all.

As a person who had thoughts for others, he could not be faulted. That day it was hammering down with rain and it would have been easy to disappear into the shelter of the Town Hall. No, he took the trouble to walk over to us and give a few of us high fives. Some apparently small gestures remain with us, especially the young.

So no. He would never figure in my least favourite players.

Even amongst our illiterate posters, can't believe so many can mis-read the title of the thread. AFAIK Guthrie and Drenthe are not EX players...... yet.

For me the 5 are

Rosenior (a total, total oxf*rd)
Roger Joslyn (for what he said about us after he left...... actually mind you, he was probably right though (at the time))
Tommy Youlden (gave the South Bank 'the bird' long before Mills was even thought of)
Nicky Shorey (for the reasons previously given)
5th - a toss up between Jerry Williams and John Oster (just never warmed to them)

Absolutely don't get the h8 for Pat 'Titchfield Thunderbolt' Earles, nor Holsgrove actually.

Those who mention Kromheer, Andy Legg, Reilly, Evers et al, et al, may as well just quote the whole squad in the TB2 era. They were all gash.

All of the players that you mongsters hated

I made a point of trying to like.

A lot of the players that used to have you weeing your knickers, I made a point of being critical about

Some of those, went onto better things, some of which didn't...some of which are still plying their trade out there (on and off of the field)...but either way, you sheep

Think outside of the box

By all means don't rate him, you're of course entitled to your opinion.

Not sure why you seem to be getting so precious about being questioned a little. It just seemed strange to dislike someone for coming on to replace another player who got injured. He wasn't at fault for Skippy getting injured, he wasn't at fault for most of the goals we conceeded and he didn't miss the penalty. And as it turns out, your actual reason for disliking him isn't really about one substitute appearance is it.

Personally I thought he was decent. No more, no less.

I always considered Liam Rosenior to be rather verbally articulate.

Whatever happened to him anyway?

He's still playing at Hull, was it them he went to when he left? He must have improved and learnt to stay on his feet at least.
