I may get slated for this but we're two nil down and arguably playing better than we did on Saturday. Their all trying to play good football and I suspect we will have a few days/nights like this through the course of the season.

Pepe the Horseman
BarrowBoyBouch possession doesn't win games.......too over confident going into the game me thinks .....and I can't believe I put us down for a home win and used my nap in the prediction league

C'mon rocket half time team talk..get Mackie on and kick some butt

URZZZZZZ

Don't think anyone's over confident. Just not got good enough players in the important positions.

Spot on. It was a tough game on Saturday and our young players are struggling here. This game has come around too quickly for us.

However, their keeper looks dodgy and when we did get the ball in the box, it caused problems. We need a very quick start and some early changes, but we're not out of it...yet. Adkins has got to get his changes right here.

Wycombe Royal With the players we have fit in midfield and central defence we were always going to lose out at some point. Looks like tonight is that match.

Good call. If we can stay upper mid table, (say 8th/9th?), when we get all our injured players back/new signings up to fitness, we will still challenge this season. Early doors, let's not panic. Nailed on away win given the relative form by both teams coming into this!

Aaron Kuhl has just been called into the changing room by Andy Crosby. Could he be coming on for the second half? #readingfc

I'm not too disheartened tbh lets see how the second half goes we like losing to relegation zone teams. Its our thing.

Lets hope so. Akpan sounds like he's having a shocker.

Cummings off - Kuhl on.

Cummings not done much wrong to be fair.

Nice intro for young Kuhl - two down at half time to the bottom side.

Obita to left back makes sense but it's a bit harsh on Cummings.

Akpan I would rate alongside Doyle & Long as one of our best value signings, shame he keep the job in the club shop and ended up on the pitch

Let's be realistic: it's nice that we got points from the first two games, but look at the team we have out there. We're going to have some pratfalls.

Much better second half. Huddersfield have only really had their goals, although Wells and Bunn especially have caused problems.

Kuhl has looked assured and doesn't mess about on the ball. Gets it moving quickly and knows exactly what he's going to do every time. Akpan looks like the junior player of the two. Decent debut.
