Sounds like an atrocious game with an atrocious ref. Reading dominating but lack any strike threat whatsoever so our best bits have been a few half decent McLeary crosses

MIllwall, despite only having 10, are still in it and we continue to look a bit iffy on occasion in defence and with a dodgy ref like this one we could still get caught out.

So, so far in the league under Steve Clarke, we've managed one win, scraped a 0-0 after being completely outplayed, failed to beat two teams with ten men for 45 mins, thrown away a two goal lead and lost a game we should've won to a last minute goal. Have I missed anything?

So maybe the problem is with the tools rather than the work men.

We got a point against 10 men so it's an improvement. Just imagine what we could do with a couple of decent strikers.

Absolutely shocking. 17 shots, 7 on target and not a goal to show for it.

Yet odds on the fools that run Reading Football club will still force Clarke to stand there at the end of the transfer window and state that it didn't matter that we failed to sign a striker because he is happy with the squad that he has got.

We're less calamitous at the back, which means when we pick up the odd draw and don't get dicked when we lose. But we are as much worse upfront as we are better at the back, if not more so. We're just not going to get wins whilst we're relying on Blackman, HRK, Pogrebnyak, Mackie, McCleary and Cox for our goals. None of them are genuine goalscorers. Cox was the closest and he's gone backwards under Clarke.

So Adkins was sacked with us 16th and 10pts off the play-offs...we are now 18th and 16pts off the play-offs...yeah that is a massive improvement... 7pts from the bottom 3 though...

It doesn't matter how much money they have. They can't spend it on players. Our wage bill is already enormous. We have bugger all room to spend under FFP.

No, he's gone backwards since our failure to secure Murray on a longer term basis.

6 points from 6 under Clarke is relegation form. This is the worst side we've had since early Pardew days tbh.

So they effing say. And, of course, we have to believe them.

And if true, it all stems from the actions of the supposed brilliant business man who idiotically sold a controlling stake in the club (51% FFS ) without ensuring that full sale had to go through in the manner which he intended and had no contractual and/or financial recourse when it didn't.
