Delighted by the ambition this signing represents, but as other posters have said, I can't quite figure out what this means for our many other new midfield signings this window. Are we expecting 'Hello' to play the number 10 role, or is he an out-and-out winger?

If we get him in, he'll be competing with McCleary, Hurtado, Piazon, Robson-Kanu, Blackman, Stacey, and Fosu for two spots. Might that be overkill?

We could always play one of them just behind the striker - but then we'd have Williams, Norwood, Quinn, Tshibola, Alex, and Kuhl competing for two spots.

Even if you completely disregard the four "youngsters", you can't fit nine senior players into a five man midfield.

Funnily enough I've had a sneaking suspicion all summer, with nothing to back it up, that McCleary wasn't going to be here after the transfer window.

That said, I don't think Piazon is competing for a wide spot and hopefully Blackman will now be considered more central than wide so I'm not sure it is quite the overkill it ight first appear.

He has a 45 million euro buyout clause. So it'll be a loan.
