That's quite a big nucleus and represents most of the players that have contributed to this unexceptional season.
The cull needs to be greater than that IMHO.

Generally yes, but the employers generally carry out an investigation and ask both parties to give their side of events, speak to witnesses etc. Also, the managers should in my opinion be held to account for not managing their staff and not preventing something like this from happening.

There's been something wrong at the club for some time. Personally I'm starting to think it's a lack of leadership and direction from the very top, although I don't think it goes as far as a lack of investment.

In terms of the rest of the season, well I'd love to see a few of the younger lads getting a chance to impress and less of the likes of Piazon, Robson-Kanu and the others that are unlikely to be here next season. Does that include Cox though? I'm not sure, he may be earning himself a new deal but I'm not sure I can see it.

Having said that, I don't just want to see kids for the sake of it, they need to be good enough but with our lack of options a chance or two for Fosu, Stacey and Keown wouldn't be a bad thing.

It's just too hard to predict anything about next season at the moment.

Fact is, but for a routine Vydra miss and some bad luck/defending at the end we'd all be very happy with how that went.

This is pretty shameful from both of them. They both need to make very public statements of contrition.

I know in the heat of the game with all of the adrenalin flowing players aren't going to always be calm and dignified, so conditions are somewhat different from an office workplace. HOWEVER, they must make some sort of apology, and maybe a nice donation to some kid's charity or something to show they mean it.

And if the referee had seen it they would probably both have been red carded (which would have been the right decision) - so there's an immediate reason why they have to show they understand how unacceptable this was.
