Is this the Spanish inspired 4-6-0?

Sounds like its 4-1-3-2-0 Ilori dropped to bench

Habsi, Moore, McShane, Gunter, Blackett, Berg, Kelly, Swift, Williams, Beerens and McCleary

Kermorgant on bench

Didn't see that coming.

We're dead aren't we?

We'll be fine, Moore, Blackett, Van Den Berg, Swift and Beerens will be covering Fredericks.

Reading FC who have been likened to Barcelona are now playing a False 9 position !!! am i dreaming.....from Dutch total football to classic Spanish tactics.

Reading 0 - 2 Fulham as i have no idea how we will score a goal lol.

My guess is Stam doesn't feel confident playing 2 up top against Fulham and Kermie has a knock or he thinks pace for the break is key. And he doesn't think Ilori is ready for 2 games in 4 days quite yet. So we'll see:

.......................Al-Habsi
Gunter, McShane, Moore, Blackett
................Kelly, Berg, Swift
.....Williams, McCleary, Beerens

Or Beerens on the right with Swift left and Williams in midfield.

If Kermie is fully fit, it's a bit bonkers. Also really harsh on Evans.

My theory is solid defence and midfield. Striking isn't a priority.

Keep 70%+ possession

Then after they've worn Fulham out, around 70th min bring a few subs on and smash a goal in

Yeah, I'm just not sure it works with Beerens and Swift who seem to offer very little defensively. And Williams and Kelly aren't exactly solid either. Kermie's the really odd one. What exactly is the point of Beerens if he doesn't have Kermie to aim crosses at?

TBF, I suppose Kermie is getting on rather, so may just need the rest.

On the bright side, there's no way Fulham would have seen this coming and also have to try and figure it out lol.... :D

Yeah can't really work this one out - could see swapping Yann for Meite, but not Beerens

Guessing Joey in a back 5 which I'm not so concerned about as a back 4. Still think Evans should be in.

We will see..

Sounds like McCleary and Beerens up top playing off each other, is interesting to say the least, me end up being a master stroke. Would be pretty pissed as one of the 4 strikers on the bench, hardly a glowing endorsement from their manager lol...

Surely there's someone we could have on the bench other than oxf*rd Mendes?

Watson? Dickie? Brendy?

Williams 3 talking points

Are we going to score without a recognised striker - McCleary's our top scorer you idiot
McShane's a walking red card - no comment
Is Jaap Stam a better option than JVDB - fook off you contrary tard.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see McShane pick up a second yellow in the second half.

Penalty.... how can we contrive to miss this but still score?

Fulham creating a long delay. Swift taking?

Saved, straight down the middle. Beerens scores.

This is oxf*rd mental.
