I don't like the way some of the objections here have been phrased, but I have to say it is heartening that people are finally standing up and saying that this is getting ridiculous. I'm very sorry for the family and friends of Dave, and my thoughts are with them in their loss, but this is gradually devaluing the meaning of the custom when it is applied to club legends.
