Maybe he did resign, but whether he was given a choice of resign with some £'s or be fired with some £'s is the question - would look better on his cv if he resigned to take up a new challenge/personal reasons rather than be sacked.Sutekh Tweet in the above suggest he resigned.

It’s all caught up with him in the end. Can’t keep treating people the way he did and continue to get away with it. Owners finally saw sense after the amount of good people quit because of him. Truly dreadful appointment.

Don't see all the fuss on Twitter about getting Tevreden back - he played a key role in our biggest ever transfer window (summer 2017) and looked at the dross that was signed...
Would get Hammond (DOF) & Howe (Chief Exec) back involved asap.
