WestYorksRoyal Sounds like it's been a mediocre performance but not a stinker. Blackpool being more ruthless tha you normally see at this level, plus Knibbs has missed a sitter and Craig had a strong penalty shout.

Thankfully they haven't. They've missed a 1 on 1 and a free header in the centre of the box. Would be 4 up if they were clinical.

Blackpool have closed us down quickly and in numbers and we haven't coped. They've also broken on us quickly. And the defence has been disorganised and half hearted.

They look demoralised and uncertain. Early days for Noel, but he's got a massive job on his hands and needs to learn very quickly.

That said, avoiding relegation was always the goal this year and we should judge the team by that metric.

Thought that was a dive first time, but second penalty we should have had.

Why do we get no penalties?

And then falls for a blatant dive from Fletcher

Blatant pen turned down, followed by a ridiculous dive from the Blackpool striker, free kick given.

There's probably some mad cult who would view Reading being awarded a penalty a sign of the apocalypse, so rare it is. We could literally have a player fly kicked in the face and not get one.

How many have we had, season by season the last three?

Feels like max of 5 for the lot.

That's another one, but handball against Smith
1, 4, 8 apparently

There was one game during Covid where it was like a challenge as to how obvious a penalty could the ref not give.

Think we did get one eventually but we missed it.

There was a Sheffield Wednesday game back in the Championship early one season, I think under Gomes maybe? We could have had about four penalties just in that game. Got none. Lost.

Pepe the Horseman This ref is a joke.

THat was a foul on Blackpool by Craig, he gives handball to us because the guy grabs the ball, the guy then throws the ball away, no yellow card.

Absolute shit.

Think it was actually 1-1 under Pauno when we were chasing playoffs. It was 4 BLATANT pens turned down.

Gomes was pre-Covid. This was definitely winter 2020-21.

Wednesday appears to be a possible.
