Shame.

Gunnarsson off injured and we are down to 10 men.

Hope Murts is back for the next Prem game.

One, at least, couldn't keep up with the carnage...

sportinglife.com 1652: It's full time at the Madejski and Reading have beaten West Ham 5-0, while Blackburn have grabbed a 3-0 win over Wigan.

If I learnt anything today, it's that Reading FC are an extremely fit side with stamina to go spare.

Two hard games against Chelsea and Man U followed by that proves what an excellent back room our club has. Let alone the players on the pitch.

Absolutely incredible.

First time we have scored 6 for over 13 years i believe.

Is it a coincidence that we destroyed Cardiff in the same fixture last season, after a conjested xmas programme? says a lot for the fitness of the players.

One thing that sturck me in the second half was how hard everyone seemed to be trying to setup Sidders for a goal.

I hope they don't know something that we don't and they wanted to help him score in his last match for us.

Petercccccc Getting worried.

Will we be able to keep Shorey if he keeps on playing like that.

Do you ever go to Reading games (home or away)?

This puts the Bristol Rovers scoreline to rest!

Bloke on the bus said his son had a 600/1 bet on and stood to win £3,000 as he predicted the first goalscorer, half time score and Reading to win 5-1. Oh well!

His performance today emphasised just how stupid the club would be if they tried to cash in by selling him now before his contract runs out.

Far better to hang onto him and hope that he'll realise that taking both football and money into account, rather than just chasing the highest offer, he is better off staying put with RFC. If he does go for nothing at the end of the season, hopefully he will have helped us secure our Premiership status, which is worth far more than we could hope to get if we sold him now.

Coppell says he's more relieved than anything.

Leroy Lita scores the fifth, and Kevin Doyle gets a second to complete the rout and compound Curbishley's misery
