A chance for a few Reading players to impress Steve McClaren here considering the only Premiership games he watches are at the Riverside stadium

No doubt he will be somewhere else on this occasion, watching his beloved Man U.

2-1 to Boro. A dip in time to get us out firing on all cylinders v utd.

Kitson for us.

I'd like to see Bennett play over Sodje if Duberry is out. I can see viduka and Yakubu winding Sodje up into getting sent off.

Not usually pessimistic this season but with many of the players having had a two-week break (we tend to struggle a bit after a lengthy gap) and rotation plus a centre-back problem and with them having two experienced and decent strikers I predict..... a single goal win for us.
No logic but it has been such an incredible season and we keep on defying the odds so why can't we just go on an on and......?

3-1 reading! kitson to score a hat trick and him to get sent off for the last goal's celebration by lifting his shirt to show a shirt saying "r u watching oliver holt", iu wonder what the odds are?

MIDDLESBROUGH v READING BETTING ZONE PREVIEW

Middlesbrough's home record reads 7-3-3, and it is thanks to those 24 points secured at the Riverside they sit happily in mid-table obscurity and are not in the middle of a relegation fight.

However, they have failed to win a game in any competition for six matches, three of which were at home with two of those against lower league opposition.

They look ripe to be taken on given the right ammunition, and in Reading we not only have a solid and in-form team, but a side that continues to be underestimated.

There was no fluke about their 1-1 draw against Manchester United in the FA Cup and prior to that they had won five in a row.

Reading are a team playing well and they can cause all sorts of problems to a vulnerable Middlesbrough through the middle or from the flanks.

Reading's ratio of four wins from 13 away from home is a slight concern but I feel they will prove too good for Middlesbrough and at 43/20 are one of the bets of the day.

Verdict: Middlesbrough 1 Reading 3

It'd be funny if Duberry's stunning 10th overhead screamer of a shot in the last minute of the game hit the bar.

I'll go for a 2-0 win for us, lita 44 & long 60.
