Farnborough Royal
When Hicks went up... There were twenty so called leftbacks in the league
there were twenty so called leftbacks in the league
there were twenty so called leftbacks
twenty so called leftbacks
twenty so called leftbacks in the league

And a winger called Glen Little shot one down
and a winger called Glen Little shot one down
and a winger called Glen Little
a winger called Glen Little
a winger called Glen Little shot one down

There were nineteen so called leftbacks in the league...

I like it

I've been singing it all day to myself. I think i need a life.

I want to know why he never played for England?

We would have won every world cup that he played in!

1) He wasn't playing in the premiership
2) He wasn't all that good at BurnLOLy, that just shows Coppell and the rest of the coaching staff can get the best out of anyone!

Fergie claimed that Reading are the best team in the premier league at crossing the ball - some compliment!

Jerry St Clair Pele
It's just like watching Pele
It's just like watching Pele

Class. Everyone knows the tune. It refers back to the "It's just like watching Brazil". And it is perfect when he has skinned another left back or three. So come on Madstad - let's hear it.

BTW I remember Burnley playing Spurs in the cup a good few years ago and Blakey took Spurs apart. The commentator raved about him, but he then seemed to disappear. Probably the Prem-obsessed media not interested when Burnley went back to their league games.

With Kitson looking sharp and eager I think the back end of the season might just see our most effective attacking football yet. Little in this stunning form, delivering crosses for Kits... :D

I know I am gonna get shot down for this but I also thought that John Oster was absolutely brilliant in the Utd game once we got back into it.
It seems he has learned a lot from Glen Little and turned the Utd defenders inside-out, too.
He is getting more convincing in the centre of the park, as well.

Hunty, Glen L and Oster are definitely the wingers of the moment. Seoul and Bobby are not gonna get a look in if they don't up their act (if Bobby wasn't out for the season, that is...). Bobby will have to get down to some serious work in pre-season to stake a claim for next season. Hunty definitely in front of him in the pecking order IMO.

It pains and embarrasses me to admit it now, but I had serious doubts about whether Little was going to make the grade in the premiership. I thought he'd be one of those Coppell could probably look to replace.

What's worse, Murty was another.

I know, I know. I am not worthy...........

Priceless!!!

Seriously, I can't see us letting him go for anything less than silly money, and given his age, I can't see anyone offering us silly money.
