Sunderland are presumably one of the sainted three worse teams who are the salvation of Reading FC and according to the venerable expert patrons of this website all will be well if we beat these teams at home, as is our destiny.

I don't think back to our last home game against Liverpool, but the one before that against 'boro which was another terrible team from the north east.

Terrible game, Ding to scrape it 1-0 thanks to Doyle.

Anyone know what chance there is of that idiot Halford playing?

Need to win this one.

I'm going for a 3-1 home win.

Reading are too good at home for anyone to entertain the 3-1 that is being offered for the away win, surely?

It's a game we should win comfortably, but then so was the game v Derby. However, after the terrific result against Liverpool I'll go with a cheeky little 2-0. Doyler and Kits.

Neither team can keep a clean sheet. Reading will score first, and Sunderland will have to chase the game which will just open them up.

Reading 3 (Kitson 12, Doyle 51 & Convey 82)
Sunderland 1 (Jones 60)

1 - 1.

Probably very cold, very boring, gaps all around the "bowl," Keane will be revolting, poor refereeing, hysterical defensive cock-ups between Sonko and everyone else, restless and quiet crowd, we'll take the lead then try to sit on it until they score a wonder goal seconds from the end.

But I'm still going, just in case we scrape a win of some sort.

1-0 Reading - Convey

Biggest game of the season so far, with a win putting us 7 points clear of one of the Prems relegation candidates.

Compo's Hat Anyone know what chance there is of that idiot Halford playing?

Pretty good I've heard.

Let's hope so, anyway - 9 appearances, 5 yellow cards, 2 red cards.
