Are my maths right - with Fulham and B'ham playing each other next wk, what ever happens we can now only be safe on the last day, given our poor goal diff? Exciting, isn't it?

Every time i moan about results my better half reminds me that i said 'i'd prefer a relegation battle to mid table mediocrity'

Correct. We will go to Derby with our Premiership status still in the balance.

if we lose next week and both Bolton and Brum win even a win at Derby will probably not be enough (Brum would only need a draw at home to Blackburn)

Glass half full if we win next week and both Bolton and Brum lose, worst case we need a draw at Derby

I was really looking forward to this game. A party atmosphere, a good drink before hand with everyone in high spirits... But I can't bring myself to go. If it turns out to be a day that we all want to forget, relegation confirmed, the team looking half arsed and clueless as we did at The Manor Ground all those years ago, it'll hurt to much and I will be terrible company for all.

Well I'm going and regardless of how badly we play and if we get relegated, I'll be giving the team a clap and a cheer at the end for giving me the chance to see my home team in the prem.

We have the quality with a few signings to stay up next season should we manage it this one, equally we have the quality with those signings to challenge for promotion agian should we go down.

What happens is the interesting thing.
