Hatt-rick I think Bolton will go down having just seen the run of fixtures they have!

BOLTON'S REMAINING FIXTURES (Premier League)
16/03: Wigan (A) draw
19/03: Man Utd (A) lose
22/03: Man City (H) win
29/03: Arsenal (H) draw
05/04: Aston Villa (A) draw
12/04: West Ham (H) win
19/04: Middlesbrough (A) draw
26/04: Tottenham (A) lose
03/05: Sunderland (H) win
11/05: Chelsea (A) lose

Can only really see them getting wins against Wigan, maybe Man City & Sunderland, other than that i reckon they'll struggle. Whereas, i feel we'll beat Wigan, Brum & Fulham at least. We'll be alright hopefully, but still require wholesale changes in the summer.

I really find it hard to believe that Bolton will get any more than about 12 more points, so another 10 should do us just fine

All of which seems to suggest that we're laughing, Bolton are screwed and Fulham might just worry Wigan...

Precisely, and more's the joy that Fulham have seen fit to spot us an 8-point edge, as it were.

Middlesbrough - Chelsea, Man United still to play. Some winnable games though against other struggling sides

Wigan Chelsea away and Manchester United to play. Again a fair chance of some points.

Reading All the big boys out the way really apart from Arsenal away. Of course we play liverpool on Saturday, but I have a good feeling about it, and we're really up for it at the minute it seems. I see, the birmingham and fulham - both home games as really important. Also Newcastle away will be a big win if we get it.

Newcastle - terrible form, everyone under pressure. Can't see how there going to turn it around. I would have said a derby match against Sunderland would give them a kick up the bum but thats ages away yet. Birmingham seem to play really well at home and regardless of their position in the table I think they are a really good team. REALLY tough last 3 games.

Sunderland - Chelsea, and Arsenal still to play, although lots of games there that they can pick points up from.

Birmingham Liverpool still to play, their remaining fixtures looks good. Definite potential for points.

Bolton Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham away (playing well at the minute, especially at home) and Chelsea as a last game. Really really tough

I think the third team who will get relegated this season will be Newcastle. Man U will finish top on 92 points, Arsenal 88 points, chelsea 79 points, Everton 76 points, liverpool 75 points and Aston Villa on 71 points. Newcastle will go down with 33 points on GD of -34 but Boro only staying up with GD of -32 and on the same points as Newcastle. Reading at the end of the season will be in 13th on on 38 points

With Bolton's top scorer having moved away to Chelsea, Sunderland's annoying manager plopping all his players on the transfer list and Birmingham's inconsistancy (... not that Reading are consistant either), i'm just going to grab at a team.
Sunderland.
(: Done.

I pegged Bolton. I know they got a huge windfall from selling Anelka, but if he is the difference between staying up or going down was it worth it?

My gut feeling is that our season could well hinge on how we match up against Fulham and Brum. We must perform.

I was really impressed with how we put away Man City once Dunne had gone, but it shouldn't disguise how much we struggled against them while he was there.

Most important game for me is Fulham. Beat them and we pretty much ensure they can't catch us, so we have to finish above only one other which I am sure we can do.
Lose it though and it will all be up in the air again.

Did the predictor thing on BBC Sport and ended up with Derby and Fulham adrift, with Newcastle filling the 3rd spot. Reading were in 14th with 40 points, with the 17th placed team on 35 points. This is encouraging as I thought my predictions for Reading were on the cautious side. Should be very tight this season, let's hope that Newcastle (big club), Bolton (anti-football) or Sunderland (Roy Keane) go down, and not a team like Wigan, Birmingham or of course Reading.

I think it will be Bolton now. We have a great chance of pulling clear this month if we despatch Brum and Blackburn.
Its also possible Fulham will be all but down when we play them and with Derby at the end I think we will be ok....we lose our fair share but win more than those around us. Those last minute winners against Wigan, Sunderland and Boro will, I think, prove crucial in the final shake-up.
Bolton, I hope to go down with Fulham and Derby. They have the hardest run-in and like Sheff Utd last season will struggle to score goals now that their best striker..Anelka is no longer involved.

Schards#2 I think it's between ourselves, Bolton and Sunderland and would be leaning towards Sunderland.

I'm not surprised with these South Westerly winds.

Sunderland for me. Them not winning at Derby 10 days back was a massive result for us, they're yet to win away from home and that should have been an easy banker for them. I think history shows you can't rely solely on home form and the pressure is on for Keane.
