4-3-3 so we can get a 5-0 win at arsenal
But, in reality we would most probably lose 5-0

................Marcus..................
Rosenior...Sonko...Ingi....De La Cruz
.................Bikey...................
Little.....Marek.......Cisse....Convey
.................Kitson....................

I would stick Bikey in between defence and midfield because we need a bit of fight there without losing the security at the back. Also I chose to put Cisse ahead of Harper as he would play a more holding role and will also help cover the defence when Bikey is in the mix. Would put Little in from the start, although maybe not ready for the full 90 yet, but I'd rather we attacked them from the off instead of sitting back and taking wave after wave. Hunt & Shorey have been poor recently and need a rocket. Oster's withdrawl would be down to Little being able to take on that 1 extra person, the one Oster usually runs into.

Bikey MUST play at centre half as he's in great form there at the moment. Tinkering too much would be suicide.

Why not? I thought we could recall him when we wanted? I'm not predicting the team, that would be the team I chose.

There's already a thread discussing recalling him, so I'll just say that there's no way Coppell will recall him and, even if he did, he wouldn't make a jot of difference to the team.

He couldn't possibly do any worse than Doyle.

The team I want:

-----------------------Hahnemann--------------------
Rosenior---Ingimarsson---Doobs/Sonko---Shorey
-------------------------Bikey--------------------------
Oster/Little----Marek---------Cisse--------Convey
------------------------Kitson--------------------------

Doobs/Sonko depending who Coppell decides, Oster/Little depending on if little is match fit.

The team I expect:

-----------------------Hahnemann--------------------
Rosenior---Ingimarsson--------Bikey--------Shorey
-------------------------Cisse--------------------------
Oster--------Marek-----------Harper-----------Hunt
-------------------------Doyle--------------------------

I do like the idea of Bikey as Defensive midfield but there is no one near his standard to fill in at CB.....as someone said earlier it would be suicide.

How about putting hunt in the middle so that the only thing he does well can be put to good effect by hasseling their midfield? maybe even man mark fabregas... You need genuine quality in two areas...upfront and on the wings and Convey will give us more quality on the ball than hunt

I'd like to see DLC involved somewhere, a solid defensive option on the right wing? Not a lot of pace but can dribble and put in a decent cross.

Like to Convey involved against Arsenal as well- at least he can keep the ball. Shorey to stay in for his set piece delivery. Kitson in for Long, obviously.

Hahnemann
Rosenior, Bikey, Cisse, Shorey
De La Cruz, Harper, Oster, Matejovski, Hunt
Kitson

Fed, Long, Little, Ivar, Fae

Reasoning:- Arsenal aren't a physical side and struggle against physical teams. If we go for an open game we'll get taken apart, especially seeing as we can't score to save our life right now. So we need to stifle them, we can't go in hard because we don't have the players but this is the next best thing.

Cisse in for Ivar because Heading is likely to be less of an issue and he's quicker. Add that to Ivar going ropey again and being quite turnable and I don't think he's right to play against Arsenal.

De La Cruz on the right because he's fairly quick but primarily is a defender so he can sure up Rosenior who was also fairly poor against Fulham.

Oster in the middle because he's fairly quick and I think is slightly more suited there. Also I trust him more than Fae. It leaves the central midfield a little tackle light, but we don't really have anyone else to play there who is better at tackling. Hopefully the numbers will block it out.

Hunt on the left because despite the fact he's gone off the boil again he's better defensively than Convey.

Kitson upfront because hopefully when we do attack the pace of Hunt, Oster, Harper and De La Cruz can get up to help him. He's also the most likely to win punted balls to releave pressure and having him on his own should hopefully disuade the long ball approach because there is no one to flick the ball onto. He is also by far and away our best striker for helping out defensively.

Long on th ebench over Doyle, because when it's not going your way sometimes you need some time out to think and get a new perspective. Doyle desperately needs this. He wouldn't score if I was in goal.

Little can't see him being ready to start just yet. Another run out and then maybe start in the following game.

Fae because he's less likely to be bullied off the ball against Arsenal if he comes on and can take over in the middle from Oster.

Arsenal haven't won for 8 games or so. No better time to play them. Will we get anything from the game? Absolutely not, there is no point in this football club turning upto the emirates on saturday, just a waste of time. Save the money we;d use on petrol for the team coach to buying new players in the summer.

Obviously a gamble to try Murts in a holding role in front of the back four as he hasn't done that before.
He could lead the team from there, would not try to get forward too much and would give 100%.

Arsenal have now lost to Utd and are out of the league race. Maybe they will rest some players and put in some reserves. We have to get in their faces like Brum did. They got a draw, so why not us? And for those of you who are saying we are so crap - did any of you see the reports when Fulham lost to Sunderland? They were truly woeful, yet came to us like league winners. TIme for our players to do the same.

I say put Bikey in mid to bite a few legs and build around that.
