Kevin Doyles Right Foot of course Shorey owes us, he owes us a perfomance whenever he plays because he's being paid to do so, so he should perform to his highest standard for the left 3 games of the season otherwise he shouldn't be paid, simple.

RG30 Shorey owes nothing to this football club. He's been an immense pro since the day he arrived and a superb addition to our squad. He's been so consistent over a period of time, and maybe the speculation regarding his future has affected his game this season but he's not in a minority that's for sure. Hopefully he'll play his part in securing our Premier League future for next season, and if he wants to leave good luck to him, good luck to the club in getting as high a transfer fee as possible, I suspect he'll probably be valued in the £5million - £7million bracket. The difficulty will be finding a long term replacement.

Gus the teenage cowrg6royalRoyal Lady because Coppell doesn't have anyone better to replace him with at the moment I would guess.
Golbourne is meant to be a good player but is he ready to make the big step up is the question.
there's only 1 way to find out, isn't there

Royal Lady If we get £5million for Shorey that will be the best bit of business RFC have ever done, even including the half a million for Andy Hughes!

rhroyal The last sentence on this interview has got me thinking:
"There are reasons why Doyle didn't come on."
"Glen Little wasn't 100% right, everyone knows that. Nicky Shorey's not lost his ability, and the reasons for that will become apparent this week."
He was just explaining Saturday's selection against Arsenal. Now I thought leaving out Shorey and Hunt was just to give a wake up call, but maybe Shorey is not going to stay with us. I know there are allegations about Kitson starting on him about not caring, maybe we're letting him go and bringing in someone who cares.
That would make sense to me. Shorey is one of our most quality players at his best, but he's poor at the moment. I think I know why too. If we go down, he doesn't. He moves to a more established club and takes home more money. What incentive is there for Shorey to give 100%? I think we should only use players whom it really matters to for the rest of the season.

Geekins Maybe Shorey is moving into a new position and letting someone else play at LB. Which is why it will become apparent this week, as it will be shown against Wigan

brendywendy cant see the left wing to be fair, what with hunt and convey to play there?
what about a central midfield two of shorey and marek?
unless hunts going in the middle, oh i dunno, really confused now

jumpers for goalposts Top 4 indeed! I'm sure Cashley, Clichy, Evra, and Riise are quacking in their boots! Still, he is an EnglOland internationalOL these days
