Big Ern Based on the fact that Wigan have not lost a home game for 3 months, and the fact that we have won onlt once on our travels all season and playing shite, I think it will be a staright forward Wigan.

Wigan 2 - 0 Reading

Agree with you. I think it will get worse before things get better against Spurs

The big 'un in Wigan:

Wigan 1 RFC 0

Heskey 70min

RFC fans big up the return of Leroy. He is even more pumped up than normal. He gets sent off early doors for striking Heskey who swats him away like a fly. Subsequently, Emile heads the winning goal on 70 minutes that creeps in through the mud. Hahneman is left sprawling helplessly in the quagmire like a semi-submerged hippopotamus.

These predictions are all extremely negative. :/
I suppose that's what you can expect when we have had a poor season.
I feel we can go there with a powerful attacking mentality now Lita is back.

I'm predicting a close 2-1 win for the Royals.
Lita with both goals. (If he starts)

Wigan 2

Reading 3

Lita goes home with the match ball, ends up in Brizzle again and promptly appears in the News of the World with his sex face on

Nezhen If Coppell sees the light and plays Lita and Doyle up front with Convey and Little on the wings then we might just sneak this. Hunt and Kitson should be bench warmers only.

Matejovsky and Harper in Midfield for me and Shorey, Sonko, Ingi and Murty at the back with Hahnemann.

Remaining bench places to be given to Fed, Bikey and Rosenior please.

This team should work ! and I'd wager a 2-0 victory with the above.

Bikey on the bench? With Sonko in the team? :o :? :|

Did you know - that Wigan and Reading are the only Premiership teams that have played each other in ALL the other English Football Leagues and a play off encounter?

I have played out the Wigan v Reading match using my 1973 Subbuteo Club edition set. I can reveal that Reading win 2 v 0. Although according to the team sheet this means Barry Wagstaff scores both goals, and the referee, Clive Thomas, was a little bit biased in Reading 's favour.

Due to unfortunate incident after twenty minutes involving the Wigan number six and the family cat Pele had to play as substitute for the remainder of the match for Wigan.

The Mars bar you buy at the refreshment kiosk at half time will cost 7p and the lager will 32p per pint.

Why do people think we going to get a result against Spurs? I think a result against Wigan is far more likely

I know I said 2-0 earlier but having just played it on stickfootball.com it's going to be 3-1, 3-0 lead at half-time thanks to Kitson and Lita (2) then Wigan miss 25 chances before getting 1 back, but we hold on.

Hesky 26 Bikey 45+1, Hunt 78

Full on scrap of a game, gung-ho tactics. Got to win this one.
