Platypus
Alan Partridge I've never known a poster change views on the weekly basis more than Jay

As I've said before, Jay IS Indecisive Dave from the Fast Show.

LOLZ. You just love that clip.

I try and be optimistic. In fact I'm one of the worst for wearing the RTG's. But the reality of it all is pretty bad for us. As I said, there's the one hand and the other hand. I pick my chin up (chins for Spacey) and look at the positives, then the other hand shows greater negatives and the mood shifts.

We are going down.

Fulham V Birmingham is a disaster for us. Fulham win we lose (probable) they are out of the relegation and us and Birmingham go in. We need a draw there more than anything.

Well a win would be nice but on the grounds that our forwards have taken exception to playing in the opposition's penalty box we could be a long time waiting.

I thought Everton suddenly discovering a complete set of vertebrae was too good to be true. We really could have done with them winning that game and leaving Pompey and Blackburn in with a sniff of sixth.

The only good thing I suppose about Fulham playing Birmingham is that it means they both can't win next weekend. We could have really done without Man City's capitulation yesterday though.

As for the Tottenham, I feel we have to have a creative player in the midfield. I would put Matejovsky on the right, assuming Little can't do a 90. It wouldn't lose too much defensively and Marek would surely help create even a couple of goal-scoring chances. And obviously, Convey on the left instead of Hunt.

what evidence have you seen that Marek's crossing is any good? Or that he has any pace? Or that he can take the ball round anyone?

I have seen zero. Regardless of whether Little can last the 90, he has to play from the first whistle so we can start well. So what if he has to go off with 30 minutes to go or at half time? He's no good to us when we're already goals down or we've given up hope.

I don't think you can ever send a team out knowing that you may have to take someone off after 30 minutes...

Hasn't Matejovsky played on the right for the Czech Republic? I remember some footage they showed on the OS when he signed of him playing there and bagging a goal. I would hazard a guess that his ability to cross a ball and get past a defender are no worse than the other options we have on the right. In a perfect world, I'd like a fully fit Little, obviously.

we have to create and for that we need the quality we have to be on the pitch
id go with little and convey on the wings, would give the crowd a big lift for the tottenham game- marek and harps in the middle, bikey back into the back 4 for his pace

a brum fulham draw, a reading win leaves us needing just a draw vs derby
