Billy The Fish Is the info as to who in the current squad drives what make of car available anywhere? Would be interesting to see.

Coppell – VW Phaeton
Doyle – Porsche Cayenne & Mercedes M Class
Hunt – Porsche 911
Lita – BMW 6 Series & Hummer
Duberry – BMW 6 Series
Shorey – Mercedes CLS Class & Range Rover Sport
Little – Mercedes CLS Class & M Class
Sonko – White Range Rover Sport
Murty – BMW M5
Harper – BMW 3 Series & Maserati
Oster – Range Rover Sport
Kitson – Raleigh Grifter

Doyle drives a Porsche Cayman, not a Cayenne, or at least did when I saw him.

USA's got a few old Porsches and a pick-up, Convey used to have a BMW 5 Series, no idea on the rest.

The list of cars reminds me of a suggestion I posted a while back about getting all the players one type of car, to be used to and from training, the idea then was to prevent the billy big bollox attitude damaging moral.

Parhaps it was not such a bad idea after all.

Kitson – Raleigh Grifter

That's a bit pointless, I thought he's had his license taken away for a couple of years.

Ian Royal
Thaumagurist*
kwik-silva and doyle?? The striker that doesn't score (except against derby)

And also against Liverpool, Fulham and Blackburn.

Excellent reason to keep him. Derby are good enough to be mid-table if they can find some confidence and form. With investment they could manage top 10 probably. Of course if they can't or decimate their squad and don't get it right they'll sink further.

derby started planning for next season before january when they knew they were down already, they bought plenty of championship style players and all will have the clauses in their contracts so i cant see them losing more than a small handfull of their prem "stars"

As this might be an ongoing thread about what is in the papers I see in today's Daily Mail that they reckon Coppell will stay for just one more year but more worringly saying that this squad is good enough to get us back up again.
Are we back to the "we will go with what we've got" yet again or has he just been saying that if this squad were to stay together he thinks we will get promoted?
People tend to forget that Ivar,Bryn,Marcus,DLC,Little and Murty stalwarts of our Championship season will be 3 years older by the end of next season than they were then,Shorey will be gone and Sonko is no longer the same player so with nobody actually improving with age on last season's evidence I have strong doubts that this season's squad would in fact be strong enough and I sincerely hope that the club feels the same way.

Have to agree with that, we need some fresh blood. This squad is going stale and we'll be lacking in key members of the 05/06 squad. Shorey will go, there are rumours about Lita and Doyle, Sonko is no longer Superman although we have Bikey, and we have already lost Sidwell.

towserSL2crew Waiting outside the car park the other week with the boy ( getting autographs ) That Fae bloke drove in driving a huge black Bentley.I dont think he has played 90mins for us yet.....too much money.....never !

I'd imagine with his nice fat signing on fee then a Bentley was an easily achievable price tag

They have no prem 'stars' all of the player's who signed in January knew Paul Jewell was building for next season, so they'll be staying (at least thats what I expect them too..
