brendywendy i think he played in teh first few games, didnt score and was rotated to see if any of the other guys had any more luck.
they did.

Long was certainly lucky to get 68 minutes.

very lucky , but coppells view was that he deserved a start, as lita and doyle had failed previously,
and ahead of hunt, because hed been third choice before hunt came, and was given his chance, just as lita and doyle were in the 1st few games
hopefully to be followed by hunt to start at ipswich alongside doyle, if that works well itll be lita and long to battle it out for the spot on the bench until one of the others form dips

Hunt and Doyle for Ipswich is a must - if only so Coppell sees how all his strikers play with each other (did Hunt and Doyle start together against Halmstads?).

I would love Lita to return to the form which almost got him an England call-up. Unfortunately I can't see it...

Really like what we've seen of Noel Hunt. Is he a little similar to Doyle though?

Still think Lita has a lot to give this team, people are right that he needs to sort his attidude out and it's been far too long since he's played well for us.

You worry that Coppell wanted him out though and we couldn't find a buyer.

An example of LL's attitude - only a few days before the make or break Derby match at the end of ast season...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1018685/Ashley-Cole-goes-clubbing-wedding-ring-Cheryl-away-tour.html Also in attendance at Chinawhite was former Liberty X singer Michelle Scott-Lee, Reading striker Leroy Lita and Big Brother reality stars Saskia Howard Clarke and Nikki Grahame.

His first Reading league goal in over a year against the one of the few sides in the country who played worse than us.

Forgive while I don't hang out the bunting.

I find it quite staggering, RB, just how much support you offer to this non-functioning striker but how little time you have for the Chairman who saved our club, made it what it is today and even slapped £1m of his own money on the boardroom table at Bristol City to secure your precious Leroy........................if I were JM, I'd want my money back :|

Not that it will make much difference, didn't he score 4 in a reserve game last season and still not make the starting line up on the saturday?
