I predict a dull and difficult game for us: an early Reading goal from a corner will silencie the Wolves fans and puzzle their players; we will go into our shell a bit and with thirty minutes left they'll realise that they can attack without fear, levelling with five minutes left. Loads will happen after that but it will be a draw.

Wolves 3
Reading 1

We won't play well and the away "hoodoo" (If you can even call it that) won't be broke.

My brain at the moment thinks Wolves 3-1. Although my football brain thinks if we play like we no we can, it could be 2-0 Reading, if all of are players play to there best. Cant actually wait for this one.

Well, as we have rather delightfully been given the Steve Bull Lower again I'll just be content with avoiding missiles thrown from the upper tier.

I've never met a nice Wolverhampton fan
And thats not bloody surprising, man
Cos they're a bunch of ignorant loudmouths
With no sense of humour

Just read over on their forum that if they win every match, the earliest they can be promoted is 27th January, at Reading

Of course, that's not gonna happen, we're gonna bash them tomorrow. Hopefully.

agreed worst bunch of fans ive ever come across, im largly basing that on the play off semi final at their place!

but back to the game, if we somehow manage to play like we do at home set up chances and score from them i can see a high scoring game with reading coming out on top. but if we cant do that and we continue as we have been away 3-0 wolves :|
staying optimistic..stranger things have happend than reading winning away :)

A quote from the Wolves Forum:
squeaky This game is a "banker" win for Wolves, 4-1 will be a fair result! Very Happy Nope! change that to nil, they are just not good enough to score against us. Very Happy

Very very confident, and tbh I do not blame them...

with our current away form - this could be ugly, and bring us down to earth.

Royals are already 1-0 up apparently.

The Football League's computer system has accidentally awarded us a goal and legally that has to stand.

Looking good!

This is the biggest game of the season up to this point as far as Wolves are concerned.

They will see this game as absolutely massive. A game against a rival promotion contender, the team who sit in third place, a team who exhibit premier league quality, a team who a couple of years ago were 1 point off Euro qualification, a team that were narrowley relegated, a team who score on average 4 goals every time they play at home. This is an opportunity for Wolves to put some distance between themselves and the chasing promotion pack and put themselves on a firm footing for promotion to the Premiership.

If Wolves haven't come out of the blocks in their previous championship matches, they certainly ought to on Tuesday night.

Therefore if this game wasn't hard enough already, the extra 3% that Wolves will add to their game is about to make this game even harder.

I think Wolves will win it 3-1.

If we start with Cisse & Harper in the middle of the park with Bikey and Ingimarsson at the back then I think we have more of a chance to be solid and deal with Wolves attacks and maybe hit them on the counter and nick a 2-1 away win.

You have to think we'll concede, but I still fancy us to nick a point, so I'm going for 2-2.

Wolves really do remind me of us in 05/06. Solid at the the back, efficient in centre midfield, 2 flying wingers and lots of goals up front.

For me it is a huge game for our full backs. If we can keep their wingers under control we have very good chance. If we let them get behind us then it could well be a quite heavy defeat.

I just can't see us coping with Wolves attack, a 3-0 defeat.

Wolve's Karl Henry is the key to their success, he controls the midfield and allows the likes of Kitely and Ewbanks to win the games, stifle KH and Wolves struggle! 2-2 is my guess.

Come on people - they're not that fukking good and we're not that fukking bad. It's totally conceivable that we'll bring something back from Molineux and it might even be more than a point.

3-1 Wolves.

It all depends if they have someone in their midfield faster than Gunnarson.

3-0 Wolves.

I wisely invested all of the coins thrown at me during the play off semi-final and became extremely rich, also becoming a distressed radio celebrity on 107 -albeit rather fleetingly. All thanks to those marvelous residents of a fine west midlands town. 4-0 to the black and gold and we will be lucky to get nil.

If Doyle isn't 100%, we should play N Hunt on his own up front, and have 5 in midfield including Bikey; push up on their wingers to not let them settle and get into the faces of their central midfield to try and negate the service up front.

A battling 0-0 will be a good result for us; a victory would be fantastic.

So my predicition?

7-0 Reading.

Sorry, we don't stand a chance in this game, 3-1 Wolves. Had a feeling that would be the score for a week or 2 now.
