SLAMMED remember the cup game that got posponed. the look on the burnley fans faces when "MATCH ABANDONED" came up on the big screen was priceless

to be fair the look on my face was pretty pissed off too
though only having a ten minute journey home made it sting a little less

As Owen Coyle has just won Manager of the Month for September I predict a comfortable victory for the Royals.

Wizard Burnley may be 4th, but look who's 5th, and remind me how we did against them?

1-1.

Remind me of how we did away against the team in 1st? Coppell won't allow our players to get carried away, they'll enter the game with exactly the same mentality as the ones before. I however am allowed to get carried away and predict a comfortable 4-0.

Did you look, or did you just reply? My point was Sheff Wed are 5th, equal on points with Burnley in 4th. I only went for 1-1 coz every game we have played that I predicted that we have won by at least 3 goals.

Granted teams have good days and bad days (and Lord knows RFC do) but how do we explain the sudden transformation from the hopeless Ipswich performance to the wonderful result at Molineux. Is it eg Bikey starting and Harper not? Is it playing on Tuesday etc? I am many 1000's of miles away but would appreciate thoughts of those that were at both games. Which is the real RFC 2008-2009?

Ipswich game 13th September : Reading: Hahnemann, Rosenior, Ingimarsson, Pearce, Armstrong (Convey 75), Harper, Karacan (Bikey 80), Kebe, Stephen Hunt, Doyle, Long (Noel Hunt 60). Subs Not Used: Federici, Kelly.
back from the game and feeling pretty gutted really. there was such a shocking reading performance and left me and many royals sitting there embarrassed...

Wolves game 30th September : Hahnemann, Rosenior, Ingimarsson, Bikey, Armstrong, Kebe, Gunnarsson, Karacan (Cisse 84), Stephen Hunt, Doyle (Henry 90), Noel Hunt (Long 84). Subs Not Used: Andersen, Kelly.
After this magnificent win against old adversaries Wolves...

After all the goals it is bound to be a stalemate + my nephew is coming to his 4th game and Reading have not scored in the previous 3!!

Huge game psychologically after such an important win in midweek.

I think they will crowd out the midfield and will battle to get the point.

0-0

4 points from Wolves and Burnley is what we all hoped for.

18 after 10 games, comfortably in the play-offs 8)
