donnievic Hoping to get there about half 4 tomorrow and looking forward to seeing a good team that like to pass it about like us.

Not sure what to expect from us really as before Saturday we have been really open at the back when we lose the ball.Played sum decent football for most part of the season so far without any luck and just can't take our chanceswhen we get them.We have been passing it around good until we get to the last 3rd of the pitch then are short of idea's but with out Wellens in midfield we don't look as good. Not expecting anything out of the game and just going to enjoy it as much as we can.

Anyone tell us the best place to park and get a drink would be grateful.

We will be in our red'n'white hooped or black shirts and bringing between 300 and 500 i would of thought.

Hello mate, welcome to hobnob.

I've got plenty of respect for Donny. Terrific football club and in many ways you're very similar to Reading in the way you've steadily built the club up.

I really hope you stay up!

It's a shame it's a mid-week trip for your fans. I exoect maybe 500 tomorrow? Nice supporters though!

Enjoy your trip, hope you enjoy the ground but not the result.

Blimey...People actually welcoming people to HNA?! ;)

all i was welcomed with was "OXF*RD OFF NEWBIE  "

also i had to wait a month for them to activate my account.

Is your Adam Lockwood THE Adam Lockwood who was criminally released by READING a few years ago?

It seems to be yes. He has made quite a career for himself going by his wiki profile.

Have a safe trip down loking forward to the rerurn trip to Donnies new ground. I was at the old Belle Vue ground for the 7-5 game many years ago just to show my age!

The arrogance of Reading fans on this thread concerns (but sadly hardly surprises) me.

Eh? I've just read this thread and am impressed by the firendliness of our fans, and of the Donny fans. Do you honestly think that we shouldn't say that we'll win, given the relative positions of the two teams? I think we will win, but, football being football, we could lose it, and that, I think is the opinion of most people from both Reading and Donny.

Arrogance? No. Optimism and a sense of reality? Yes.

Reading 0 Doncaster 1 (Chappell, L.)

Only home defeat of the season.

Would we 'take this' today?

It is yes but went off injured on saturday with a back problem and unlikely to feature toninght.i alot off your fans will be surprised how well we pass it about but we lose ideas once we get in and around oppenents pen box.Be back on tomoorow what eva the score is tonight and then later in season to tell you best place to park and drink at Keepmoat seeing as it was a while back since last at Donny.

That 7-5 game was something else with Kerry Dixon scoring 4 and still not getting the match ball

ROVERS TIL I DIE!!!

Welcome to the board Donnie fan, and I'm looking forward to going up to the Keep Moat in February!

As an alternative to the pubs already mentioned, The Swan at Three Mile Cross (on the other side of Jn 11, first left at the first roundabout you to come to after the motorway junction) could be considered. They did charge for parking, even though its a good 25 mins walk from the ground, but the food/beer is excellent there.

Safe journey down and good luck for the rest of the season.

My abiding recollection of Donnie is a purple away kit in the 70's - no logo, no trim, just 100% purple from top to toe.
I thought it was cool and bought a pair of purple footi socks in your honour.

Firstly, welcome to Hob Nob, but could you please write properly? Have, not of.

Anyway, I quite like Doncaster, I've been there a few times for some beers with a mate who lives in a village between Doncaster and Barnsley.

Good luck for the season, but not tonight. ;)

LoyalRoversSupporter Yh we Donny fans will enjoy it it beats going to Leigh RMI on a tuesday night anyway ;)

We often perform against the sides doing well and the teams we are not expected to beat.

Not saying we will beat you as I dont expect it.

Im just hoping we do better than the Wednesday's did ;)

im hugely confident tonight

that said we do seem to be a team who ends other teams runs-good or bad
so if your in a bad run of form, its definitely possible you can get a result

stayed with donny at the play off final hotel, great bunch of lads-good luck for the rest of the season

FWIW I'm expecting a tough match, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Reading conceded an early one, and I'm considering a cheeky flutter on a 1-1
