SCIAG This isn't going to happen, you're not allowed to re-sign a player who you've sold within 12 months  .

I'd never heard of that rule.

There is the FIFA ruling about not playing for 3 clubs in a calendar year, but if you resign a player then it's only two clubs....

Wouldn't mind signing Little on loan to cover for Kebe .... not sure how we're going to survive against B'ham without a quality winger! But doubt it's going to happen with Little starting games in the Prem now.

I have already suggested this as a solution if S Hunt leaves as is being heavily touted in the press.

Move Kebe to the left which is supposed to be his natural side and get Blakey back on the right.

I know someone at the club, and we have someone lined up should Hunts clause be activated. I hope its Surman. I'd rather move Kebe to Aldershot than to the left.

this is bullocks. we've got s.hunt and convey on the left, kebe and henry on the right. we dont need him!
and if s.hunt does go to wigan due to palacios' impending move to spurs we would need a natural left sider as a replacement.

Coppell doesn't like Henry, he's got an attitude problem we should just cash in on him. He was going to Spurs anyway but the deal fell through when Jol was sacked. You can't tell me you'd rather play Kebe than Little?? Even a half fit Little

I had a business meeting with a couple of Pompey fans last week; they describe Blakey as Pompey's worst ever signing!

That is the flaw in the plan - having said that if he is nearly fit - it may be a cheap end of season loan deal to give us cover if Hunt does go.

I don't think it would fit the bill on any count. He'll want Premiership wages, his fitness is far from guaranteed and he's not a replacement for Hunt !

The idea would be Little on the right and Kebe on the left with Convey and Henry in reserve. I don't think it is likley to happen though and think we should be looking to the future.

Something tells me SC would not take back anyone who thought they could do better elsewhere. You move on.

I'd rather play Kebe without a doubt.

Little was the best winger I've ever seen at this club but he's not getting any younger and his form and fitness are apparently major concerns. Kebe on the other hand has been our most creative player this season by a distance (Hunt set pieces aside).

Ironic, seeing as Crystal Palace did exactly that with Coppell.

I think said rule has gone up in smoke- Pompey fan must have been confused when he "explained" it to me, as the reason neither Little nor Defoe could return to their former clubs.
