S09Royal
Matt de K And now we've just found out that Mike "Hunt" Dean is reffing. So I predict lots of yellows and most probably a Reading player getting sent off. Probably Cisse.

Then we'll lose 2-0

God I hate Mike Dean

They hav'nt scored many, they hav'nt conceeded many, so if we win it will be tight, one nil maybe two one...

Personally i feel a draw coming on. Neither us or Brum have been playing well, but both have been picking up points...

Which manager is better at motivating their respective teams?

Difference between us and them...hence the huge goal difference is our 'bad form' has been for a few matches, their 'bad form' has been basically season long.

I would be more than happy with a draw.

*Yawn*

My James Henry obsession ended a long time ago.

(About the time Marek came to the club.)

In the first few minutes the Birmingham keeper Taylor will punch a pinpoint Stephen Hunt corner into his own net. Birmingham spend the rest of the half trying to break Reading down but are hampered by injuries to both wingers. The second half starts with Birmingham still pressing, but in a breakaway Reading force a corner which is played short. A clever triangle between Hunt, Rosenior and Karacan sees a cross headed in by Bikey at the near post. Birmingham look a beaten side and late on substitute Long and Doyle combine brilliantly on the right and Cisse steals in behind the defence for number three.
Deja vu in the Midlands!

Tight game but we've proved this season we can raise it against the better teams in the division. I'm hoping for a narrow victory.

Birmingham 1 Reading 0

I think the Brum will be up for this game as will we. So it should be a cracking match. But the Brummie boys are hard workers and we will be coming up against the sternest defensive unit in the division.

My gut feeling indicates that there will be no way through for our attackers on Saturday and we will eventually run out of ideas as the Brummies are in no great rush and are quite happy to remain organised, calm and relaxed. The Brum will settle for a point and will therefore approach the game with much care. They will be very focussed on not conceding to us and we may appear to be the more attack minded team on the day.

Realistically this game could go either way and any result is possible. But more than likely Brum will be very negative and defend extremely solidly and knowing our luck, a moment of brilliance from McFadden or Jerome or one of their other flair players will unlock our recently improving defence.

2-1 Reading.
Reading take lead - Doyler - 17th Minute
Brum Equalise - Kevin Phillips - 48th Minute
Tight for the rest of the half with Reading scoring in the 89th - Brynjar Gunnarsson sending the Royals faithful mental, taking us nicely into the automatic promotion spot!

Recent results suggest a draw/win.
I'm going for a stalemate, though clearly I'd prefer a result like the 06/07 FA Cup.

the sternest defensive unit in the division
that may not be quite as stern due to the absence of Ridgewell.

S09Royal
yuomi 3-1 royals. another 'goal that wasnt' kebe hits one from 40 yards, off karen brady's stupidly furry hatted head and into the back of the net past a flailing taylor.

urrrrrrrrrrz.

3 goals to the Royals?
Taylor is good...so i've seen. B'ham haven't conceeded many goals this season, so to get 3 past them really would be something else!

C'mon urzzzzz.

Taylors crap, we did score 3. HTH
