Thanks for everything Bob.

Left side of the record breaking team, and part of RFC history.

One I will always remember is the goal at Wolves in our promotion season.

Good luck for the future.

Best of luck Bobby and really hope you find success back home.

The Millwall goal was one of the highlights of 05-06 and will remain long in the memory.

Would be great if he's able to say goodbye at the game tomorrow.

Since his niggling knee injury he hasn't been the player he used to be.

Best of luck to him though for the rest of his career.

it can be argued, that apart from the teams who have never left the top flight, he was part of the greatest team, EVER-full stop

Big fan of Bobby, so disappointed if not surprised at the news.

Obviously fantastic in 05/06, but also in the team during our best run last season (including the Liverpool win). You never know with these things but it’s a shame he didn’t feature more towards the end of that season (especially with Hunt being so awful).

Thanks for the memories Bobby.

Sorry to see him go like this. Injury prevented him realising his full potential but he was a great player and a really nice bloke. Best of luck for the future Bobby.

You should never leave home without it American Express

One amazing season and I always enjoyed his wing play, shame Shunt went and ruined it all for him.

Best of luck where ever he goes.

I'm pleased the Bobby will be remembered for that fantasic season - its didnt work out before or after but we'll always remember him fondly - on his day a class act and I still preferred to watch him than Hunt (although I recognise what hunt does bring to the team).

I'll remember him for:

Millwall goal

Burnley goal

Norwich goal

Part played in Harper's goal against Liverpool.

Seemed like a really nice guy who suffered for the being left footed like Hunt.

Made at first a regular follower (I'd been nosing around a bit before then) and later a fan of the club out of me.

When he started banging 'em in early on in 2005/6, I knew at once the Rzz were going up (and they scoffed --scoffed!-- when I said so).

Now he's gone, but I'm still here, and I ain't going anywhere. So we'll always have the Bobster to thank for that.

Or to blame, depending upon your point of view. Cheerz Bobberooski, and welcome home. You done us proud, and thank gawd you didn't end up doing it @ miserable Tottnum.

Cheers Bobby.

If you'd done nothing else in your RFC career than score that goal against Millwall, you would have been remembered anyway. As it was you were a major part in the greatest team RFC have ever had, and for that I for one will always be grateful.

Cheers for your time Bobster. Will always be remember for your part in the record breaking Royals team, but could have been so much more, but for a string of niggling nasty injuries.

Sad day, but expected and time for the club to move on.

Absolutely gutted. Will never get his impact in the record breaking season, and IMO his goal against Millwall is one of the best scored at the Mad Stad.

Shame hes not been able to replicate that form since, and as much as im upset hes gone, its best for all parties.

My aunt isnt going to be pleased when she hears hes gone
