AthleticoSpizz Sir Steve took some real big gambles with his team selection today, to shake things up.
The first half performance vindicated it
The second half performance let him down
My own, and only criticism, was the exclusion of Bikey who can replace Doobs and can move up for set pieces or sit nicely in midfield

2 world wars, 1 world cup Yes today was disappointing.
But sorry, anyone who even contemplates the idea of Coppell going is absolutely f*cking pathetic.
Sorry.
We are a small club with plastic fans who don't have the passion that other clubs have (as most are relatively new) and we deserve at best to be a good League 1/poor Championship side with our following/wage structure etc.
Since the arrival of Coppell we've been punching WAY above our weight as a yo-yo club: winning the Championship, two years in the Prem and now on the edge of auto promotion again. He took three different teams to the top flight and he's on the verge of doing it again or soon enough, bad patch or no bad patch.
Anyone who can't see the wood for the trees is in my opinion extremely naive and totally incapable of seeing things for what they are.
The day Coppell goes WILL be the day we will free-fall into a league position we deserve. And I won't be surprised if we'll have to wait another 135 years for top flight footy again. It will be the biggest disaster and one of the saddest events in the history of our club and possibly the history of our town.
It makes me very sad that my fellow fans can be so thick.

lolRoyalee We're a small club, blah blah, we'll never do anything.
Why don't fans like you f*ck off and support Wycombe if you're so happy being mediocre to shit. We've proven as a club we can compete in the top flight and if teams like Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton and Boro can establish themselves up there I'm not having the 'be happy where we are, we're a small club' debate. We have a catchment area bigger than most Premiership clubs, so no, we're not always going to be a small club. Coppell, however, will always be a small time manager because he has a mental complex which prevents him from achieving greater things - the man cowered away from Manchester City when they were crap for goodness sake!

How the f*ck did it vindicate it?! Were we 1-0 up at half time or did I miss it?

Yep, but Swansea have come up two divisions in the time it's taken Coppell to move us up one place in the Championship. Let's see how he'd do with our resources you moron.

Might it be that you are suffering from the same disease as the current manager - blind loyalty?
