On SSN a few minutes ago...

Coventry just have the edge. Key player: Jay Tabb

Maybe that's why he was taken off.
well yet another dire performance, a team whose owner doesnt want promotion and players who are playing with no passion, effort or desire to get promotion, all going to plan then !!
According to BBCRB Kelly had a 'steady' game. One crumb of comfort..!

To be honest towards the end of that I was almost willing Coventry to score a goal - I'd rather stay down and the club have a fresh start and build towards the future rather than go up, have Coppell stay another year and come straight back down in spectacular fashion.

Coppell isn't (and wasn't) going to be with us next season no matter what happens. It will be a great pity if he has to leave when everyone is feeling down rather than celebrating promotion.

Well the upside is that Hunt'll go and although I'll be sad to see Doyle leave, we'll still have our youngsters and we'll have money and a new manager to freshen things up meaning exciting times.

We still have hope. I expect Wolves to get a result tomorrow, and even if Brum win it'll still technically be in our own hands because of our goal difference. Sheff Utd on Friday is a huge game. One of us will be written out of the automatic race, I suspect that if we draw we both will be. They're on form right now, however we always seem to do well against them. We'll see.

BUT...

A proven striker is worth far more than money in the bank though. And can you see us spending the money we would make from Doyle's tranfer because I can't? Our youngsters show a lot of promise but can they get us promoted, I don't really think so. You need stand out players to get promoted and if we don't go up this year the ones we have will all leave and not be replaced like for like.

it's a good job Kitson is back to score the goals and end the uninspiring football.
