whilst I agree that selling Hughes was a great bit of business, I was not aware that it was post 106 season for us as that is what the poll is. Understandably as although the figures are higher I suspect they were better value for money than some sales earlier in our existence.

Brayson dropped out of The Football League when he moved to Northwich Victoria in August 2004.[4] This allowed him to play part-time for Cheshire club while running a taxi business in his native Newcastle. Was this the same one that Bullivant owned???

We got an obscenely low £80k approx when Neil Webb went to the pikies. Even in 1982 he was worth £500k. I also thought that we were turned over by Huddersfield for Craig Maskell. Did we really shell out £250,000???

The ultimate was £30,000 we got for Robin Friday.

Waste of money.

Sean Evers and further back in the past...
Mr Steve Moran, completely washed up boozer.
We have done alright though in regards to 'bargain' buys.

We did quite nicely out of Keith Curle and Simon Osborn IIRC. Not forgetting Shaka or Kerry Dixon either.

Could have done without Meaker, and to be honest Senior made Dixon's loss nowhere near as bad as it could have been.

matejovski, kebe, mills, nhunt, stretch, ..........

Fae, Cisse, Rosenior, Mooney, Bikey. That's about £10m if you think of Rosenior as £1.5m (what we paid for Seol).

Do we include Halford or Fae, really? They were both 'ins' before we started the 'asset stripping' if that's what you wish to call it.

Fae - £2.5m
Cisse - £650k?
Rosenior - £1.5m (for arguments sake)
Mooney - Buttons.
Bikey - £1.5m (very, very generous though I thought it was less...)
Matejovsky - £1.5m?
Kebe - Buttons.
Mills £1.5 (up to £2m)
NHunt £650k (I forget, tbh)
Stretch £300k?

There or thereabouts £10m...

Bikey was £1m on the dot, but Kebe was a bit more than buttons.

As I've posted elsewhere. Take all our transfers in and out (based on Strap's figures and his database is fairly reliable usually) and we're about £5m up in total since the start of the season Coppell took over in - 03/04 iirc. That's less than £1m per season effectively.
