Kieron1981 One of the most emotional players ever for reading

my personal favourite (cant remember the team or player) was in his first season with us, a player was hassling him down the wing... kept hacking away at his shins... bikey stopped (forgetting the ball as it rolled on) and pretty much threw him at the advertising board.... classy :)

Any of cause beating up a St.John ambulance at the cup or nations..... we have all wanted to at some point :)

My only regrate is i wont be able to see Joey Barton have a hissy girl fit at him this season and bikey knock that muppet out :)

..and you have the audacity to call someone else a muppet!!

My favourite rfc player, and now he's gone. Absolutly gutted. He has all the qualities that made games exciting, his unpredictableness matched with his skill made the games special. He will keep Burnley up, and be on his way this time next year. Possibly...

My favorite player of last few seasons. Head says it's a good deal cos I doubt he'll ever stop being an utter liability, but I don't follow football with my head, and my heart will miss the thrill of watching the most physically gifted defender I've ever seen at Reading strut his stuff. He just made me laugh (boing - there goes another forward bouncing off him, boing there goes another 50 yard cross field pass), and I fear we'll be short of laughs for the next few years.

Gutted to see Bikey going I really am. As has already been said, the guy has got bags of potential but hasn't seemed to have realised it yet. Complete lunatic to boot and lets be honest, everyone loves a player who goes into tackles with 75% commitment, 25% studs.

Favourite Bikey moment for me was in the first Prem season, home to Manchester United and Bikey comes off the bench. In the dying minutes, Rooney steams through, Bikey comes out of nowhere, slides and in one fluid motion wins the ball, takes Rooney out and then pings an inch perfect pass to someone. Legend.

That and the wasp in his shirt moment from Burnley obviously.

gutted, absolutely gutted, he had his faults but when he was on form boy was it good to watch. made the game look so simple. i cant help but feel we're really going to miss him, it was for all to see on saturday how we missed a presence at the back and now we certainly dont have one. when jm said he wanted to sell the club i didnt think he was going to do it piece by piece! i know
Bikey wanted to go to be in the prem but i cant wait to hear the latest drivel to come from his mouth about cloth cutting when we buy a replacement CB from the lower leagues on the cheap. we now have no goalscorer and no way of stopping the goals from going in. what next? the sinks from the dressing room???

We've already bought his replacement. From the Championship and a deal that could cost us around £2m. Nice rant though!

Seeing him upfront at Old Trafford was a brilliant moment.

If he plays more than half of the games left for Burnley I'll eat my pretend pants.

Under-used but never un-loved - goodbye captain beaky. Lancashire won't know what's hit them

Maguire Sad times. We now need to sign a massive hard as fuck black man as a matter of some priority.
We've got Jimmy Kebe, silly!

I think ElmParker has summed up my thoughts about this perfectly. I've just posted to add this picture, my favourite image of my favourite player:

On a practical level, his towering bulk will be missed in the current squad. We need some more imposing players, we're looking a bit weedy this year!

Im sad to see Bikey go, he is only player who has the potential to play at the very top level imo. Like Matejovsky he was never given a real proper run in the team.

Doyle & Bikey were my favourite 2 players in the last 4 years

Terrible news indeed. I will also miss him, some very tough times ahead I think.

I for one don't give a flying fcuk that he's gone. Fun to watch at times but glaringly inconsistent. Good riddance.

i know we've brought mills (which id guessed as the pre cursor of Andres leaving at the time) but that leaves us with one fit CB and one good but inexperience CB and one mid fielder pretending to be a CB.. it will take months for Ivar to get any where near full fitness again and we now have a squad that looks ropey and wet behind the ears at best.
sorry about the rant, but i am begining to get concerned at the moment as to whats going on.

And what a horrendous way to spend £2M, Madejski must be livid.

After 1 league game?.I very much doubt it.
