Royal Lady and £2.8 mill was our value for Bikey.

They were robbed, i would take mills over Bikey any day, and i have seen Mills just once.

CMRoyal In fact, that strengthens your argument because arguably he didn't make the grade. I

I think he did have the odd appearance, although Bikey was much the same, so you could probably argue (if you wanted to) that him not holding down a place in a side that was relegated would equate to Bikey not making the grade either.

Except Bikey has been signed by a Premiership team. And Mills hasn't.

Which obviously means nothing apart from that clubs manager thinks he can make it.

A bit like us signing Sodje, or did that mean he'd made it in the Premiership too?

Not at all. Ideal has given an opinion on what he supposedly see's.

No problem with that, as from what I can see he's not basing it on figments of his imagination or inaccurate assumptions.

I would argue that he should give Mills a bit of time to see what he's like when he's fully fit and bedded into Rodgers system though.

A lot of the problem on HNA RL is that people have issues with the poster rather than the post itself. I can't help but feel had it been anyone elses name tag next to your post it would have gone down far better. You are making some good points atm IMO.

Not at all, I have no issue whatsoever with RL. She's a bit of a drama queen but that's not unusual!

RL's point was different and then became more a point about him being from Doncaster, not fit and a desperation signing because he wasn't match fit for the first few games of his 3 year contract. That was the bit I had issue with, not her opinion that Mills might've had a bit of a shocker.

whats happened to matejovsky?

by ade_kent_royal » 25 Aug 2009 18:39

according to os he is not on the injury list yet he wasnt even on bench
on saturday. if your gonna play without wingers you need a midfielder
who can deliver defence splitting passes. think he is quality and would be perfect in
this formation we are playing, so why is rogers not playing him?

Two fairly obvious reasons spring to mind.

1) Not injured =/= match fit
2) Transfer interest

He played yesterday of course. Though Mills, who has been stated as not being match fit, did not. How does that work?

Mills played on Saturday and is presumably closer to, or is, now match fit, and Rodgers wanted to give Gunnarsson a run.
