In a thread here I asked Brendan to lose more games as I rather he mixes it up a bit and learns from his squad than does the safe borin thing and make do with hanging on.

However I would certainly not go so far as to say I've been enjoying it.

And my patience is beginning to wear a little thin now.

However I do still feel it's not been enough games and the man is at least mixing things up and learning an awful lot from his squad, which can only be a good thing. I just hope

1) it starts coming together within the next 5 games, certainly before Christmas

2) he would be a little more honest with himself and the fans and not come out with the rubbish he has.

He seems an odd character. On the one hand he's frightfully honest and talks about it taking 2-3 seasons until we gel (which I still think is realitically going to be the case, despite our delusional wishful thinking), our lack of quality up front, but then he goes and makes horrific nonsensical contradictory claims like we're going to make the playoffs and that we're currently playing enjoyable football. I enjoy getting certain parts of my anatomy caught in my flies than I do following Reading at the moment.

I agree. He's had most of his mixing-it time. I hope he can now begin to crystallise what he's learnt so far into some sort of plan so he can come up with a bit of consistency over the next few games.

He should have started the season with a team in mind and stuck to it for a couple of games then tried something new if it wasn't working. Random mixing it up every game is for pre-season.

Rodgers came out and said the players aren't good enough, and that Tuesday was his worst night in football. Fairly strong words AP, and at no point has he said he's happy with what he has seen in the last 3 games.

I understand it's all very anti-Rodgers ATM, but he's trying to do his job, and he really does care about the club. Slagging off everything he does is childish and rather indicative of modern football.
