Player of the season: Gylfi by a mile

Most improved player: Kebe

Best performance: liverpool (A)

Worst performance: being an exile I can't really judge except for the few cup games I saw on TV. Tempted therefore to say Aston Villa (H) start of 2nd half. I was sitting there in disbelief at the turnaround

Predictions for next season: heart says champions/2nd, head says late surge to make playoffs, though by no means struggling (a la BR era) all that much before then, we'll just be a few places below before the surge to take us to say 4th-5th

Yeah the Villa game was a shocker but something that really has seen us press the panic button before against less superior opposition. Realistically the team had still done us proud to get us that far, showing the fight to pull us back at Liverpool and WBA. In that context of a team playing for each other, getting the two goal lead, it still wasn't as bad as the away game at QPR. THAT match saw infighting, a sending off for Ingi, a clueless Rogers, a spiritless team taken apart with a whimper and no comeback on the cards. It was also the real turning point when the away support was lost. Don't forget it was the home support at this point who had not seen a win, so that made things all the realistic with a demise for Rogers on the cards.

Aston Villa (H) - Don't get me wrong, first 10 - 15 minutes of the second half were poor. But the rest of it we matched or outplayed one of the best teams in the country and it wasn't because they weren't up to their usual standard, which is what I think was the case against Liverpool. Although obviously we played very well in both those games as well.
Worst performance
QPR (A)
Predictions for next season
5th

Player of the Season:
Gylfi Sigurdsson
Most Improved player:
Jimmy Kebe
Best performance:
Liverpool away was something special, but it's got to be Peterboro at home.
Worst performance:
QPR away
Prediction:
If we somehow managed to sign Griffin, Khizanishvili, and Bertrand (no chance I know), then we will make the play-offs. Perhaps we could get Bertrand on loan for another year, similar to what Michael Mancienne is doing perhaps?

Only for the oldies, but...

Is Tabb the new Bowman. Shortarsed, buzzy, organised and a lovely eye for a pass?

I'd agree with this. We really lost our patience with him that night. Don't forget they had a man sent off at 0-0 as well and still went in with a 2-0 lead.
